ADIOS Main Photo

Adios offers charter guests the beautiful, traditional interiors and high performance capabilities synonymous with the famous Nautor Swan brand of Finland. This beautiful, 59-foot German Frers designed sloop was built in 1985 and meticulously refit in 2010/11. Based out of St Maarten (SXM), this spacious Swan is now available for charter anywhere in the Caribbean and is fully crewed with Captain and Chef/Mate.

Charter Adios and experience why, with all their amenities, Swans are among the most popular yachts ever built. The speed and power of these ultimate sailboats is exhilarating. With maximum safety features and unparalleled comfort this yacht is delightfully fun to sail.

Just sit back, relax and sail off into the warm waters of the Caribbean on a vacation that promises an experience of a lifetime.

Adios offers luxury charters with a bit of an edge. The yacht specializes in round trip excursions of either 2 days or 1 week (or more). The following choices offer a variety of a great sailing experiences, quiet anchorages and vibrant nightlife. Either book for a week or plan a 2 day trip as part of your vacation while in St. Maarten.

Say ‘Adios’ for a couple of days

Sunrise to Sunset – 2 day Excursions:

Early morning pick up in Simpson Bay, Grande Casse or Marigot. Two day trips with 1 night aboard including breakfasts, lunches, late night snacks, and beverages for both day. Dinner ashore not included.

•Around SXM: Leave Simpson Bay and stopping at the island’s beautiful beaches with an overnight stay in Grand Case. Dine ashore in the island’s premiere French gourmet seaside village. Rise with the sea turtles and continue the next day to enjoy snorkelling, the beaches and nature reserve on Tintamarre Island, and continue the circumnavigation returning to Simpson Bay at sunset.

•SXM to St. Bart: Leave Simpson Bay stopping at Ile Fourche and on to St. Bart for a fabulous evening in the St Tropez of the Caribbean. Next day, shop ‘til you drop, rent a scooter and tour this fabulous island or just chill on Shell Beach. Adios then moves on to anchor in Anse a Columbier and finishes off the day with a sunset sail on the return leg to Simpson Bay.

Say “Adios” for a week

Weekly Excursions:

•Around SXM, Anguilla and St. Bart is a fun week combining beautiful anchorages, beaches and great nightlife in three island countries. Highlights along the way include Marigot, Grand Case, Dog Island, Road Bay, Gustavia, and much more.

Excursions with an edge:

•SXM/BVI/SXM. This is a favourite and offers a unique 100 mile downwind sail (sometimes overnight) prior to spending 5 days in the BVI with its fabulous sailing, snorkelling, diving and beaches. It is not to be missed. We may even catch a tuna or mai mai along the way. There is the option to either take an inexpensive flight back to St Maarten from Tortola or make the longer upwind return trip on Adios.

•Another excursion with an edge is a southbound one, SXM/Antigua/SXM. This trip can take in the Antigua Classic Race Week or the St. Bart Bucket Race en route. We can also visit St. Kitts for a night’s beach party. The trip is similar to the 100 mile trip to the BVI but the southbound leg is to weather, takes longer, and can involve more adventurous sailing!

•For those interested in formal sail training, Adios conducts offshore sail training courses with an accredited instructor in early December and again in late February/March. These trips usually involve a long sail from SXM down to Guadeloupe or St Vincent with lots of open water.
