Crew Profiles:
A vibrant and professional couple from South Africa, Justin and Cayley have worked together in the charter industry for the past nine years. Their experiences as crew have taken them to the far reaches of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Western Caribbean. Their passion for travel and meeting new people brought them together nine years ago on the infamous seas off of the South African coast.  Cayley has recently given birth to their beautiful daughter, Lily. She will be kept busy helping with the management of Aldebaran and raising their beautiful baby girl. Justin, your MCA Yacht Master Captain, developed his sea legs at a very young age, having done his first ocean crossing at nine months old. He then spent part of his childhood living in the Islands of the Seychelles where his Dad ran a charter yacht. His exposure to sailing and the island way of life fostered a wanderlust that resulted in Justin traveling extensively through Europe the Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand.

An avid sportsman, Justin has the patience and skills necessary to share his passions with beginners and more experienced water-sport enthusiasts alike. Justin is equally comfortable below the water and holds a PADI Dive Master Certificate. Having spent 6 years in the charter industry, Justin prides himself on his ability to multitask and is as well-known for his wakeboarding skills as he is for his cocktail mixing.

Crystal Dauth is a South African chef hailing from Cape Town where she was born. Crystal has a degree in Marketing and advertising and started out her career in the Advertising world before she decided to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. Traveling through Europe and working in different restaurants Crystal found herself living on an island in Greece where she managed a small upscale piano bar and restaurant. After two years in Greece Crystal went back home and found herself managing some of the top restaurants in Cape Town for the next 10 years. Crystal was trained by a private chef before she decided to open her own restaurant which she had for 2 years before leaving for the Caribbean to become a charter chef.
With 7 years experience as a charter chef Crystal will cater to all your needs with her wonderful gourmet creations. With cooking being Crystal's biggest passion she also enjoy scuba diving in the clear blue waters of the Caribbean.

The Aldebaran...My only regret is that Eryn and I had to come home. I can't tell you how incredible Justin and Cayley are, and what a beautiful boat they keep. The food was better than most 5 star restaurants and the service and attention to detail was stellar.
When you are on a boat with a captain who has made transatlantic crossings, you feel very comfortable and safe. They took us to the best beach bars, snorkeling locations and deserted beaches around. We were honored to share the first few days of our life together with them and we were heart broken when we left the boat.

Eryn and I are very good at our jobs and we both deal with the same people that frequent Peter Island and the Aldebaran.
When in this situation I usually wonder "If Eryn and I were in charge could we do a better job than the current management?"
The answer for Peter Island is "absolutely yes". As general managers we could definitely improve everything about the Peter Island experience.
The answer for the Aldebaran is "not a chance". We would strive to be as good as Justin and Cayley and use them as our model.

Just a quick word to thank you both for the fantastic holiday we've had with you in the British Virgin Islands. We had a perfect time.

I attach a couple of pictures of the girls during the holiday,. One is the older girls on the treasure hunt you organised for them, and one is baby Leia. On the way back home, Suki commented how good the food had been during this holiday, something which I have never heard her say after any holiday before, so compliments go to the chef!!

What a dream trip.

We had a fabulous time. Justin and Cayley could not have been better. They were a perfect match for the four of us. We LOVED them.

Our meals were perfect. We felt like family and they took great care of us.

The boat was great and we had the best weather.

The last day I even got to swim with Cayley and a mother and baby dolphin

I want to say "thank you" and tell you the match up with Justin and Cayley was PERFECT.
We all got along perfectly. We laughed a lot and enjoyed every moment.
