Chartering in the Caribbean, East Mediterranean and the West Mediterranean

Operating in the Caribbean, East Mediterranean and the West Mediterranean

Allegro was launched in April 2017 in Bordeaux. Built by CNB and designed by Philippe Briand, she’s a modern monohull that’s eye catching across the bay.

The interior is stylish, comfortable and functional, designed by Jean-Marc Piaton for a classic elegance ‘‘à la Française’’; combining balance, symmetry, modesty and refinement in every last detail. Classic and innovative, graceful and contemporary, light and comfortable, and above all pleasing to the eye and relaxing to be aboard. Allegro really has it all, from the offset cockpit table and seating area converting into a huge relaxing sunbed, down to the spacious saloon area with panoramic views, the unique master cabin, a converting double to twin cabin and a smaller bunk cabin where the lower bunk can pull out into a double, all with en-suites. The crew cabin is located off the galley at the rear, separate from the guest cabin area that is located forward of the saloon, the second crew cabin is located forward and accessed through the deck.

The Philippe Briand designed hull is fast, powerful and secure. It’s an ultra modern design with aft chines and a sharp, vertical bow. The high freeboard makes her a dry yacht underway. Allegro has a powerful, well-balanced sail plan, with Incidence carbon sails ensuring good performance.

She now has 2 Seabobs onboard.

Crew Profile

Captain: Andrew Joos (36)
Captain: Andrew Joos

Andrew has been a professional yachtsman for more than 10 years. He started off with long offshore yacht deliveries and went on to work on charter yachts. Growing through the ranks, he learned the roles and have made himself into a great all-rounder. For the last 3 years he has worked for the same owner, together with his wife Sarah and joins Allegro in January 2018 with her.

Andrew is passionate about sailing and loves sharing that passion, "I derive much happiness from bringing joy to others through the adventure and fun of sailing!"

Andrew is a commercially endorsed Yachtmaster Ocean / MCA Master 200

chef/stewardess: Sarah Joos (32)
chef/stewardess: Sarah Joos

When Sarah entered the yachting industry some years ago she had yet to discover her true role onboard. She started on a 35m motor yacht as Junior Stewardess. Sarah rose to the occasion when the head chef became unable to work. Her cooking pleased the palette of the Russian owner and Sarah became the new Head Chef. She progressed her career on some high profile sailing yachts, as sailing together with cooking, are her true passions. She is looking forward to the variety of tasks that she’ll undertake on Allegro.

Sarah has gained her cooking skills from working alongside highly experienced chefs, of which at least one holds a Michelin star. Sarah holds a Kitchen Guilds Hygiene certificate and is an RYA certified Day Skipper with club racing experience.

First Mate/Deck hand: Bradley Du Plessis (28)
First Mate/Deck hand: Bradley Du Plessis

Bradley grew up near the coast in Durban, South Africa. He had a calling to the sea and pursuing a career on the water was the natural thing to do. This dream has seen him on board a variety of yachts from 38ft racing yachts to mega motor yachts, as well as being at home on more traditional vessels like the Sanjeeda Dhow in Mozambique. Bradley sees his new role on Allegro as bringing all his skills together, he is also a Yachtmaster and with his cheerful and polite attitude he is a great addition to the crew and will strive to make your time on board a wonderful experience.

July 2017 - Sardinia & Corsica, family of 6

We had an excellent time.  Probably the best yet.

The Boat.  Excellent.  Just the right size for 6 people.  We did some sailing and some motoring and all worked out very well.  The accommodation in the bow and the working / galley / crew aft seems to be a good setup.  Good toys, good tender.

The Crew. Faultless.  Friendly, capable and professional.

September 2017 - Sardinia & Corsica, 2 couples

Allegro is a beautiful yacht, she delivered an excellent cruise, I would now like to purchase one but I don't know if I will ever find a crew as good as them.
