TESTIMONIALS Alex, “Well, we asked for three things when you contacted us about our visit on AMNERIS – swimming, sailing and snorkeling – much to our delight we’ve done all three things every day and enjoyed delicious, healthy, fresh meals three times a day. You have managed to take us to new places in the BVIs – each one more charming and beautiful than the mind could imagine. Our visits to the caves (on Norman Island) and the Baths (Virgin Gorda) and the Indians will live long in our memories of super snorkeling sites of the BVIs.” “We appreciate your patience and expert knowledge to answer all of the questions we had about the boat, sailing and the sea. Your Aussie charm and superior sailing skills put us at ease and we could not have been more relaxed. As parents of four young daughters, we really appreciate this!” “Thanks for the trip of a lifetime! “ - Family of six, May 2007. Tortola to Tortola. “What a wonderful experience we all had aboard the AMNERIS - the beautiful waters of St. Barths was truly an amazing site. What a special crew to play Frisbee with our children! We were treated like kings and queens. Every need taken care of and more. The cooking was ‘Five Star!’” “Alex, you were a wealth of knowledge about ‘everything’ and your Aussie accent was oh so great to hear. We had a relaxing vacation – great family time. The most special experience was how they decorated the boat for our son’s 17th birthday. The cake was a ‘chocolate masterpiece’. You are so much fun and it was great to get to know you. Thanks a million!” - Family from Texas, March 2007. St. Barths to St. Barths. We wanted to share our feedback from our recent charter with Amneris. From the very beginning, we were met with warmth and hospitality. We enjoyed getting to know this international and talented crew who became friends while also showing us an amazing adventure through the coastline of Maine. The boat is in impeccable shape and (it) was a pleasure to enjoy her large cockpit where we often had delightful meals and gorgeous views. This crew was professional throughout the entire week and always made us feel at home - from the morning cup of coffee handed to us as we woke up, to the chocolate treat left on our beds each night. Thank you for a wonderful trip that we will never forget. Please share this with the owner of Amneris. I hope he is proud of the fantastic experiences that this crew is offering to guests. A 'pleasure cruise' is only pleasurable when, yes, the boat is lovely, but mostly when the people on board have an energy, a chemistry that flows naturally without effort, infused with fun. Meals were fresh and refreshing, healthy and delicious. I really liked (the chef's) listening style - I would mention something casually and with enthusiasm and in short order it would appear on the menu. You aimed to please and you did. Alex, thank you for your clear-headed, forthright expertise. You had everyone's respect, including my 'much sailed' husband and an otherwise blasé 16 year old! Your Ozzie (Aussie) charm and natural courtesy, coupled with serious sailing skills and constant carefulness, made all aboard feel relaxed and secure. Julia was a very kind, respectful and peaceful presence, special thanks to Julia. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Our time aboard Amneris is a perfect start to the New Year. - Family of 5, December 28 to January 3, 2007 Antigua - Antigua |
