ANAM CARA Crew Profile

Captain: Andrew Garratt Andrew Garratt is an RYA Ocean Yacht Master Instructor with commercial endorsements for both power and sail. He is a well qualified, experienced yachtsman with some 100,000 nautical miles in his log book and was a former instructor with John Goode’s world-renowned Southern Sailing School. Andrew enjoys nothing more than sharing his knowledge and love of sailing with guests who are interested in learning seamanship. The Chef/Mate: Lesley Cooke Lesley, born and raised in Bristol, England, is an accomplished Chef and First mate. A veteran of many years in the financial sector, she has always been a keen cook. Her specialty is good old fashioned home cooking with the emphasis on fresh and wholesome ingredients. Years of traveling and recent summers cooking on charter yachts have expanded her repertoire to include more sophisticated Mediterranean cuisine as well. Lesley will ensure that your particular culinary needs are met. Lesley and Andrew have worked together on yachts for some time, most recently as Captain and Hostess of a superyacht based in Turkey. Together they look forward to making your holiday on board ANAM CARA memorable for all the right reasons.
