Captain Carlo TREVISAN
Nationality: Italian
Age: 32
Captain Carlo was born with the passion for offshore yachting. He first embarked at age 12 and slowly continued his journey at sea, sailing after sailing, heightening his passion and refining his skills. He began navigating on super yachts in 2002, as Captain of motor yachts and sail boats, his true passion.
His elegant, cordial, enthusiastic and hospitable manners makes guests feel right at home and let them know there is someone always ready to cater to their needs.
His simple way of living life at sea and his attention to even the smallest detail concerning safety and hospitality makes every journey an unforgettable one.
He first embarked on the Antares Avance in 2007 for a wonderful charter season in the Caribbean before crossing the Atlantic to bring the Antares Avance back to its base in Genoa in March in only 21 days.
He is a great connoisseur of Jongert yachts, especially the Antares Avance. Carlo knows all the secrets to get the most out of this yacht, offering guests magical adventures all over the world.
He also boasts a vast knowledge of both the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas.
He possesses an IMO license for boats up to 3.000 tons.
Carlo speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian.
First Mate Stéphane CUVILLIER
Nationality: French
Age: 40
Stefan, has been sailing since he was 5 years old, like all true Breton seamen.
After achieving a college degree in Architecture where he developed a passion for photography and drawing, at age 27 he decided to dare crossing the ocean solo on a 6.40 m sailboat.
He has crossed the Atlantic 8 times and has chartered many times in the Caribbean where he lived for various years.
Stefan is a true gentleman who loves to sail and navigate mile after mile, watching the white foam trail the boat leaves behind.
Expert connoisseur of the Mediterranean and Caribbean seas, he met Captain Carlo by chance. The two became good friends and decided to embark on a great professional adventure together, starting in 2007 with the crossing of the Atlantic on the Antares Avance, from Turks and Caicos all the way to Genoa.
Stefan has had the honor of putting together memories of various unforgettable cruises thanks to his amazing photographs which capture all the spectacular moments of life at sea.
He possesses an IMO license for boats up to 500 tons.
He speaks English, French, Spanish, Italian and some Dutch.
Chef Rino CRINI
Nationality: Italian
Age: 57
Born in Tuscany, one of Italy’s most famous regions when it comes to cuisine, Rino loves to experience with flavors and to mix colors and textures.
Rino specializes not only in typical Italian cuisine, but also in international dishes which will please even the most refined guests. Fish, is of course, one of the strong points of his menu, like his famous spaghetti with shrimp, served so beautifully the dish almost looks like a work of art. Rino’s dishes are light and delicious, featuring all the flavors of the sea.
His cuisine is characterized by the careful choice of fresh seasonal products. He knows the best markets and the best fish and has favorite suppliers who know him and put the best quality products aside just for him. He chooses everything personally with great attention to quality, appearance and freshness.
In crossings, when there are no guests on board, he loves to fish in order to catch the best ingredients himself.
Rino is also a wonderful barman. He enjoys making fresh fruit cocktails, refreshing desserts and gelatos. Cheesecake and Tiramisu are also his forte.
All this would not be complete without wine, which Rino knows how to choose and combine perfectly with his dishes.
His meals are an invitation to taste the wonders of the sea and of seafaring.
Rino loves the sea and loves to sail; he has been working for ship owners for years and is happy to be serving his on the Antares Avance.
Stewardess Alba Ratka BENEDETTI
She like saling and have experience in ordering provisions and suplies, keeping inventories, managing budgets and accounts as well as interior detailing, laundry and silver
service. She enjoy the challenge of working on a boat, the satisfaction of successfully meeting the requirements of guests, working with a good crew and being part of the team.
Well trained in all hospitality fields, professional, competent and use her initiative, she can adapt easily to different situations.
She have very good eye for details, respectful, discretion, ability work under the pressure, strong discipline, identifying the guest expectation, fairness, creative and coordination skills.
Her refined taste and care for detail makes every cabin extremely comfortable and welcoming.
The cocktails prepared by Alba are delicious and refreshing, always perfectly in season, as her sorbets and gelatos, elegantly garnished to please both the taste buds and the eyes. Her beautiful table settings are a feast for the eyes, welcoming guests to a great dining experience.
Bea truly loves and enjoys her time at sea and conveys this enthusiasm through her pleasant conversation.
She speak English, German, French speaking and italian.

ANTARES AVANCE Accommodations
ANTARES AVANCE can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins. The Master cabin has a double bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have 2 single beds, shower and toilet. A Guest cabin has a single bed, a pullman, shower and toilet. ANTARES AVANCE is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate heads and shower.
