Your skipper, former British Olympic sailing competitor Katrina Best take to the charter and kitesurfing realm aboard catamaran JOY.
Kitesurfing has been the center stone of Kat's life for the past few years. She learnt back in 2009 as a distraction from her Olympic sailing campaign. Little did she know it would become her dream career and partially take over her life. Professionally competing at an international standard since she left school, Kat knows how hard it can feel to keep motivation in sport at times. She has got all the tips and tricks to get you focused on the best way to improve your riding. Working as a kitesurf instructor around the globe for the past few years has given Kat a fantastic insight into the different ways kitesurfers learn and progress. kat will tailor the coaching just for you.

I have been likened to an excited puppy in my enthusiasm towards kitesurfing ever since I set eyes on a kite in 2009. When it comes to my students progression I’m there with you to complete your first backroll up to a nail biting kiteloop, and I’m happy to share my passion with everyone on the beach when you land that elusive trick. Kitesurfing fast became my world and my dream has been to run my own kitesurf business delivering consistent high standards to all our guests. Having taught kitesurfing I have learnt very quickly to adapt my methods to the individual, and to develop new techniques around choosing and teaching the right trick for you.
