AQUASITION Crew Profile
Captain – Blurge Brown
Born and raised in North West England, Blurge’s first job after leaving college was instructing at an outdoor activities center in the National Park area of the Lake District. Here he taught many water and land based activities to children and adults alike. Always having the travel itch, Blurge headed for Australia and New Zealand, where he entered the yachting industry and found his instructing skills and people skills very valuable assets in yachting. After cruising the waters of the South Pacific, he arrived in US territories and has continued travels extensively from the East coast up to New England, the Great Lakes, Bahamas and the Caribbean. Captain Blurge’s goal is to make every trip on board as memorable as possible and send each guest home with a unique story to tell. So welcome aboard AQUASITION and let us set sail for parts unknown and explore them together, feeding the adventurer in us all.
Your engineer is Noah, who was born in Madison Wisconsin. Looking to get away from the cold winters, he joined Americorp (domestic peace corp) were he helped with different projects up and down the east coast, then decided to go back to school in Madison for diesel engines and heavy equipment repair. He has transferred his skills from land based vehicles to ocean going vessels. Noah has worked on boats for 6 years including 18th century sailing vessels, small cruise ships and motor yachts.
Jeff is the mate and he lives in Fort Lauderdale but is originally from Indiana. Jeff has been in the yachting industry for the past six years and loves to travel. In his free time Jeff likes to speed as much time in the outdoors as possible doing water sports, tennis or watching professional sports.
