Captain: Andy Haberli
Captain Andy Haberli is looking forward to providing an outstanding charter experience for guests in Cuba, the Bahamas, and the East Coast of Mexico this summer. He is from Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin and grew up on the docks of a local yacht builder. At a very young age Andy was exposed to yachting and a natural career choice. With 20+ years experience as captain, Andy operates as a seasoned master while still retaining the energetic demeanor of a younger captain. Andy has worldwide cruising experience providing a valuable knowledge of cruising destinations throughout the world.
Chief Engineer: Steve Herbert
Steve is from South Australia where he gained his electrical trade certification in a power station. He also spent several years in Cairns working on live aboard dive boats on the Great Barrier Reef. From there he found the yachting industry and for the last 18 years he has spent time on both sail and motor yachts as well as build projects. Sailing, fishing, and cycling are what he enjoys most.
2nd ENGINEER: Ben Eisenberg
Ben Eisenberg grew up near Boston, Massachusetts where he spent summers on his family's sailboat traveling around Cape Cod and the islands. Since 1999 he has lived in a number of locales including Miami, Thailand, and Los Angeles, where he studied at UCLA. When Ben joined the yachting industry seven years ago, he brought with him nearly two decades of experience in IT, telecommunications, and electronics. In addition to ensuring the smooth operation of all systems on board, he is also committed to making sure that guests are able to enjoy amenities like music, Internet and movies during their stay.
CHIEF OFFICER: Michael Ward
Mike was born on the East coast of South Africa in the province of Kwazulu Natal. He relocated to England at the age of 16 where he finished his schooling. Mike was a semi professional rugby player for a top flight rugby club in the UK unfortunately due to an injury he had to end his playing career. His love for Travelling and the ocean brought him into the yachting industry in 2009, where he has progressed through the ranks and hopes to be a captain one day .He is always on hand to create a happy and fun environment onboard and strives to meet the needs of the guests. In his spare time Mike likes to Scuba Diving, snowboard and motocross.
BOSUN: James Porter
James grew up around the beautiful coastline of southern Wales. He would spend all of his free time around the beaches and on the water. He grew up sailing with his father, and sailed at a competitive level for a time before moving onto windsurfing. James is also a passionate surfer and has travelled much of globe in search for the best waves. Before working on yachts, James studied aerospace engineering at university and while he was there began learnt to fly light aircraft. After getting his license he now plans on getting his seaplane rating. James is a keen watersport man and will always be at hand to get guests out on the water. Never hesitate to ask him about activities and excursions.
DECKHAND: Andrew Thackray
Andrew comes from Devon, a beautiful county on the coast in the South West of England. As a child Andrew loved to sail and since then has always been enthusiastic to try different types of water sports. During his early school years Andrew developed a passion for singing and acting and was awarded a scholarship to sing in the school choir and was later awarded the title of head chorister as well as lead roles in ‘The little shop of Horrors’ and ‘Joseph and the techni-coloured dream coat’. In college Andrew studied Performing Arts and Business Studies and after he graduated left straight for Antibes, France to look for work on a super yacht. After 2 years in the industry Andrew has found a career that he loves and wants to be successful in for the years to come.
DECKHAND: Robert Gait
Robert was born in Northern England, in the county of North Yorkshire. As a young man he spent many days outdoors walking and participating in various adventurous pursuits. At the age of 16 he enlisted into Her Majesty Armed Forces and completed 6 years as a Gunner in a Fire support team, travelling to various destinations around the globe. He is a big fan of film and music and loves the ocean life. A happy character who is always smiling.
CHEF: Jean-Paul (JP) Barcena
JP learned to cook from his mother in his early years and that sparked an interest that he would rediscover later in life. His childhood curiosity turned into a life-long passion of preparing meals for others. JP was a self-taught chef up until the mid 90’s and had owned a beachfront restaurant already when he found himself with an opportunity to attend the French Culinary Institute. He went on to apprentice behind some great Master Chefs throughout Europe and the US, learning all forms and techniques of preparing International cuisine.
CHIEF STEWARDESS: Briar Lemberg
Briar was born in the south island of New Zealand then at a young age moved to Australia. Like any typical Australian she loves the beach and sports involving the water. She grew up around yachts and marinas as her family are keen sailors, herself competing from an early age. Since her first job until now she has always been involved in the service and hospitality field. Following high school she completed a business degree majoring in marketing and advertising. In 2012 she decided to merge her passion of hospitality with her passion of the ocean and join the yachting industry. She likes to create unique and exciting experiences for guests on board. Never hesitate to ask her for any requests, herself and her stewardesses aim to make your trip very memorable.
2nd STEWARDESS: Cara Hauptfleisch
Cara grew up in South Africa. She left home after her studies to come to America and work in two 5 star platinum country clubs, which lead her in to this incredible industry, which she loves. Cara has a passion for travel and hospitality. She is always striving to give of her best and wants everyone`s experience on board to be nothing short of amazing.
3rd STEWARDESS: Amy Waggle
She has always been interested in working with people and was drawn early into the hospitality field. Her drive to succeed, learn and be the best support to a team of professional individuals has brought her into yachting. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, hiking, cooking, gardening, and doing crossword puzzles and relaxing with friends and family. One day she hopes to overcome her fear of heights and go skydiving!
4th STEWARDESS: Nicole Fokes
Nicole had an exciting childhood growing up in the Philippines and Hong Kong. She then moved to Australia where her love for travel, outdoor activities and love for the ocean continued to blossom. These, along with a strong background in hospitality have led her to the yachting industry. In her spare time she likes to practice yoga, hike, cook and snowboard.
