Built for entertaining, the Sundeck Jacuzzi seats eight.  Expansive built-in sun pads are forward of the radar arch.  Wet bar is to port and an additional dining area is centerline; the perfect place to enjoy the fresh catch prepared on the Sundeck grill.

The on-deck, full beam Master Stateroom is impeccably finished with high gloss panels accentuated by light colored fabrics.  The Master suite features a study, seating area, vanity/makeup area and massive his/hers walk-in closets with separate dining area.  The Master bath has double sinks, a large soaking tub and separate shower with backlit onyx.

Guest accommodations are four staterooms below, three of which are King suites and another with two single sized berths, all with en-suite baths.  All baths are appointed with exquisite onyx counter tops and inlays on the shower walls and floors.

Crew Profile

Captain: Craig Robberts

Craig was born in Washington DC and grew up in the Northern Va., DelMarVa Peninsula area. He started boating with his family before he could walk on the lower Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay. He moved to Florida in 1972 where he took up sailboat racing. Captain Craig has held his 1600 ton license for over 30 years

and has traveled extensively as Captain aboard Vessels from 30 to 230’.

First Officer: Matthew Littlejohn (Matt)

Matt is from New Zealand and started his career building interiors of super yachts, spending many years working on Trinity builds whilst based in Mississippi. From a young age he has also spent a number of years doing competitive sailing in various classes of yachts. He is our Safety and Security Officer on board as well as our First Response Advanced Fire Fighter. Matt enjoys travelling and his hobbies are everything ocean related. He is also our photographer onboard providing great aerial shots!

Chief Engineer: Sherwood Michel (Red)

Red was born in Columbus, Indiana and has over 35 years in the industry. He started his career in open ocean racing sailboats on an international scale. His mechanical engineering background led him to the marine industry.

He has his Masters license deck as well as his Chief Engineers ticket but feels more comfortable and challenged with ‘keeping the ship in Bristol fashion’. Red is a keen skier, enjoys big game fishing, diving and spear fishing as well as playing golf and Aviation.

Bosun: Gordon Polson

Gordon grew up along the coast of South Africa, developing a passion for the sea. He graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce in Recreation and Sports Management where after he completed his Dive Masters and Yachting qualifications. He loves the challenge that yachting demands and is drawn to all aspects of the ocean, whether it be scuba diving, water sports, free diving or fishing. Gordon is our experienced Dive Master on board.

Deckhand: Shaun Hucklesby

Shaun was born and raised on the coast of Durban, South Africa and sailed along the coast of South Africa and Mozambique since a young age. He was a lifeguard on Durban’s beaches from 2009 till 2011 and is an enthusiastic surfer. Shaun spent 2 years on an exploratory fly fishing vessel in 2013 till 2015 and caught and tagged many Tarpon along the West African Coast. He loves to dive, fish and enjoys trail running when possible.

Chef: Bradley Floyd

With 16 years experience in the catering, restaurant and hospitality industry, Bradley brings his experience aboard Motor Yacht ASPEN ALTERNATIVE. Brad has developed a signature style that emphasizes fresh, seasonal ingredients to create fantastic dishes, from the traditional to the more exotic. He specializes in artfully presented regional cuisines, including Caribbean, Southern, Creole, French, and Italian. Dining options frequently change to meet the demands of his diverse clientele and make the most of fresh, seasonal ingredients. Born in New Orleans, LA, Bradley’s culinary aptitude was influenced at an early age while helping his parents and the importance of finding joy in eating great food with family and friends. With his passion for cooking flourishing, Chef Bradley attended a local culinary college where he received a degree in Culinary Arts. Bradley has cooked for former president Bill Clinton, prince of Qatar and the New Orleans Saints.

Chief Stewardess: Heidi Smith

Heidi was born in Cape Town with an adventurous spirit. She left South Africa in 1996 and moved to London where she worked as an Executive Assistant in Blue Chip companies for over 6 years using her organizational and managerial skills. Whilst there she became a British Citizen. After managing a yacht delivery company for 1 year she entered the yachting industry in 2003 and has since crossed the Atlantic, sailed over 28,000 NM, visited many countries and served aboard both private and charter yachts. Heidi enjoys the outdoors, keeping fit, travelling and cooking. Her enthusiastic, friendly personality will ensure guests feel welcome and cared for at all times.

2nd Stewardess: Tarryn White

Tarryn was born in South Africa, grew up around water and has a passion for all water sports. She is a great all-rounder and loves interacting with people. Tarryn was previously an Au Pair/Nanny and also spent time working in a Restaurant, waitressing and running the bar before joining the yachting industry because of her passion to travel and love for seeing new countries and learning about new cultures. She started out on deck but soon progressed into the interior and enjoys working in all areas of the yacht. In her spare time she loves the outdoors and keeping fit and active.

3rd Stewardess: Rache Greeff (Che)

Che’ was born in South Africa and after graduating from High School became a live-in childcare provider in Ohio. She started her yachting career in 2015 in the Mediterranean where she developed her love for travelling and exploring. Che’ has a passion for working with people and enjoys the challenges that this industry has to offer. She loves to cook and bake and often spoils the crew with her treats. Scuba diving and anything that gives her an adrenaline rush are high on her priority list.
