AURELIUS, a Bestevaer 76S sloop, is a swift and elegant classical cruiser. Her fine hull design is the ideal blending of speed and pleasant motion under way. Her shallow draft gives her access to many anchorages and small ports which are normally not accessible to yachts of her size.

AURELIUS sports a bimini that stays on whilst sailing and fully covers the cockpit with side extensions to provide shade from late afternoon sun & protection from rain showers. She also has a large sun awning that can be rigged to shade the midship area. Her spacious clean deck with four sun mattresses, plus several deck cushions, is ideal for lounging or bathing in the sun.

AURELIUS` elegant interior joinery, upholstery and fittings are of a very high standard. She accommodates 4 adults and 2 children. The master king stateroom is located forward and has ensuite facilities.  Two guest cabins are aft of the saloon.  The port queen stateroom has direct access into the day head with shower. The twin lower singles cabin to starboard has an ensuite washbasin and shares the day head and shower with the port cabin.

AURELIUS Testimonials

Dec 25, 2013 – Jan 1, 2014,  St. Vincent - Union Island, family of 5
To the broker:
We had a wonderful week.
You need have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Ken, Giselle and Aurelius.  Neither of them could have been nicer, more enthusiastic to please and to respond to our wishes in every respect.  Ken is extremely competent as a captain and Giselle's cooking is quite simply remarkable, even judged against onshore top notch restaurant food.
Wishing you a Happy New Year and thanks for putting this all together.
Best wishes,

“Dear Ken and Gisele,
Wow! From one blissful anchorage, and from one Michelin-starred lunch and dinner to the next, this trip just got better and better!
Aurelius is such a beautiful boat but we lucked out most of all with the best skipper and chef in the Caribbean- you've spoiled us rotten and looked after us so beautifully.
Highlights have been:
Sailing downwind
Turtles at Tobago Cays
Duck with port reduction
Stargazing lessons
Frog legs and tuna sashimi, foie gras (and all the food)
Thank you so much for everything and hope we see you again very soon.
Lots of love"
"Ken’s great skipper skills as he bounds around the boat like an Olympian. You both earn a gold medal for your constant good humour!"
" We have chartered (as you know) many times.  This has simply been the best: the best boat, the best chef/food."
Dear Giselle and Captain Ken,

I just wanted to thank you both for making our first time on a yacht such a fabulous one,

Gary and I had the most wonderful time.  With Ken on the helm we both felt very confident and at ease even in quite big seas, and as for Giselle's  excellent cooking, it was amazing, I have never seen Gary so willing to try different food.

It was lovely to return home to see the family, but I often think of you on the yacht and can't wait to follow Ken on his voyage (across the Atlantic to the Med),

Keep well and Thank You once again
