AYACANORA Crew Profile
Donald( Rick) Beckner is the son -in-law of Ayacanora's Mike & Roberta Haver and is now the captain aboard Ayacanora. Mike has retired, but will return upon clients request. Rick was born in Washington State and grew up on the Puget Sound where there is a large sailing community, theis was the beginning of his love for the sea. Rick is also a ASE certified mechanic (which always comes in handy on any vessel). Rick was a supervisor for the mega yacht builder, Delta Marine Industries in Seattle. He started sailing earnestly when he moved to the Virgin Islands. He holds a 100 ton USCG license, and formerly worked for the Renaissance Resort on St.Thomas, as an instructor for sailing and water sports. He is also the captain on Windborne day sail business when not aboard Ayacanora.
Rick is a very personable and enjoys the company of adults and children alike.He is a natural leader and very safety oriented. He will always make the guests safety is a priority and that their vacation is the most memorable.
Roberta holds a degree in Culinary Arts and Management and graduated cum laude as a certifi ed chef. She is also a United States Coast Guard-certifi ed captain. She was born in Washington State and grew up swimming and skiing and enjoying the seafood of the Great Northwest. She has owned and operated a restaurant called The Pantry, a wholesale muffin business, American Maid Muffins, and a catering business named Ashore and Afloat. Roberta takes pride in serving her guests only the best. Guests have commented that it is like eating in a five-star restaurant with Ayacanora wrapped around. She is as capable at the helm as she is in the galley.

AYACANORA can accommodate 4 guests in 2 queen cabins.
The master aft cabin has a queen size bed, shower and head.
The forward cabin has a queen bed, shower and head.
There is an additional single berth available forward.
AYACANORA is fully air conditioned through out.
Crew has a separate companionway, heads and shower.
