AZUL Main Photo

The interior compartmentalisation of the "Alalunga 85 Sport" is traditional, featuring four cabins (for the owner, VIPs, and two guests), a large saloon and five bathrooms.
All of the cabins are equipped with private bathrooms and box showers, while the owner's cabin has both a Jacuzzi tub and a separate box shower. The interior is done in cherry wood and other fine woods and the shipyard has chosen elegant fabrics and leather in co-ordinated colours for the upholstery. The interplay of levels created by the designers, as well as the large volumes created by the shape of the hull and superstructure, give this yacht excellent liveability.
Inside the area protected by the hardtop, accessible through a crystal glass door, we find the dining/relaxation area, decorated with the same elegant materials as those used in the interior. This line of open cruisers is very attractive and boasts innovative, stylistic solutions usually only found on different boat types, such as the well-protected, wide, lateral walkways and the rounded shape of the superstructures that extend from prow to stern. A spacious sundeck has been designed forward, with ample room for eight people. The area, perfectly integrated with the superstructure, does not interfere in any way with the boat's profile. There is another sundeck astern, while the cockpit is the ideal place for dining in the open air and enjoying sailing in maximum comfort. The geometry of the bottom ensures that the boat is always soft on the waves and capable of excellent performance, so that the owner and guests benefit from an appropriate combination of comfort and boating safety. The numerous technological accessories installed for navigation and communication, along with those for relaxation, such as the hideaway plasma TV, make this yacht modern and well-suited to the requirements of today's guests.

AZUL Crew Profile

CAPTAIN: Paolo Bozzo Costa, Italian, was born in Genova in 1972, where he is still living with his family. He has a natiural bent for the sea: he was at the rudder of his first boat at age of 6, when he attended a summer sailing course in Santa Margherita Ligure. Since that time he got a deep passion for boats, and this took him to become a professional and successful Sailor since 1990. He achieved a lot of experience and all the Commercial Certificates to command yachts up to 3.000 tons (IMO License). At the age of 30, he was already Captain of a Technomarine 100' "Reef Blue", and then Captain on a Mangusta 130', highly improving his experience in driving fast vessels with surface propellers and waterjets. His job experiences either on private or charter yachts gave to Captain Paolo the opportunity to have a deep knowledge of the whole Mediterranean Sea : he knows every small secluded bay, where to let his guests be breathless. Very flexible character, he can handle the most stressful situations with a strong sense of humour. He is a hardworker, very honest and relating in excellent way with any type of guests. He has been working for the same Owner since many years, and on AZUL with same crew since the beginning. He created a fantastic Team Spirit, that helps greatly to offer to clients an unforgettable and magnificent vacation

CHEF-DECKHAND: Alessio CASAGRANDE, 39 years old, Italian, was born in Santa Margherita Ligure, one of the best seaside resort in Italy and where all native people have a very strict relationship with sea...and seafood cuisine! Alessio was fond of cuisine since when he was very young, and even during the school holidays, in summer, he was working in a pastry shop. Thanks to his family pushes, he decided to attend a Culinary School, but having always in mind the dream to do his job onboard of a yacht. Immediately after achieved his Degree, he found a position as Chef-deckhand, working in Med for approx 5 years. After that he realized he was ready for something more exiting and far from home: Usa and Pacific Ocean. For 9 years Alessio has been living and working around San Franciso, Sausalito and Santa Cruz 60 ML south, improving his English/American, which are now extremely fluent. This experience did not change his special way of cooking, learnt mainly by his Grandmum: the best cuisine is not sophisticated, he cooks simple and healthy food, but really tasty and unforgettable! He is very happy to cover also the position of deckhand, having a great passion for the sea. He likes to wake up very early, to go to the best fish shops or small markets and find the best quality ingredients to offer to his guests the delicacy and the subtleness of fresh food.

STEWARDESS: Antoaneta COSTACHE, born in 1978 in Bucharest, living in Italy since many years and working in Yachting industry since 2008. She speaks Italian and a fluent English, and of course Rumanian as well. She has a University Degree in Financial Economy. She is fond of cooking and reading. After a first season on AZUL in 2009 for the Owner's private use, she was firmly asked to confirm her position also when Azul entered last year into the Charter market. She is friendly, creative and flexible. Thanks to her refined taste for details, each cabin on AZUL is always extremely comfortable and clean. Her warm welcoming to guests, let them feel like at home and attentively pampered.

Same crew on board for the last two season
