Bear Market is a high performing luxury sport yacht full of Italian style and fantastic speed that make her ideal for fast-paced cruising in the West Mediterranean.
Built in 2003 by Italian shipyard Mangusta (Overmarine), this open-style superyacht has a smooth exterior complemented by a warm and comfortable interior. The 28 meter Bear Market accommodates nine guests in four guest cabins.

Captain
James Battey joins Bear Market with 8 years experience in the yachting industry, He has worked his way up the ladder with previous positions on Jamaica Bay, Allegro, and Natori, James has also been Captain on Sealyon a 120 ISA
James is hard working with an excellent sense of humour, having run busy charter boats he is completely dedicated to the yachting industry and has cruised the Mediterranean extensively. James has been a keen sailor since 6 years old racing international 14s for team GB on the south Coast and therefore has always had an interest in life on the water. In his spare time James has spent time in New Zealand at a wakeboard training camp, he also enjoys scuba diving, tennis and fitness.
Deck/Engineer
Gareth Griggs has worked on Bear Market for 1 year now. He is great with children as he is a master of all watersports. He has his dive master and is a keen free diver.
Gareth worked with James on his previous boat Sealyon and is a very hardworking individual who always is polite and got a smile on his face.
He also is a master cocktail barman so is sure to dazzle you with his fine array of showmanship with a cocktail shaker.
He looks to further himself with the industry, as he is keen to make this his future.
Stewardess
Lauren Trevenen is joining us for her second season on Bear Market. Lauren has many years of hospitality service experience and a background in event management. She is always aiming to exceed guest expectations and provide the highest level of service. Lauren is very bubbly and always wearing a smile. She is a dedicated, hardworking Stewardess with a great sense of humour and a keen eye for detail.
Chef
Ryan Plester joins Bear Market for his first season in commercial yachting. Ryan has an abundance of experience in all culinary fields. He has worked in Michelin star restaurants under famous chefs and also run his own culinary business on the side. He is an active person who is keen on rugby and enjoys skiing during the winter.
He also is a qualified diver and loves watersports. He is certain to dazzle your taste buds with his expertise in the galley.

BEAR MARKET Accommodations
Deck Areas:
Bear Market features ample sunbathing with a sun pad on the aft deck, forward and on the roof (only available for adults and when the yacht is at anchor).
The aft sun pad can be turned into an exterior dining area for 8 guests. The table elevates out of the sun pad and can be in shade thanks to two large sun umbrellas.
The aft deck also has two sofas, each with a low table for lounging.
Interior:
The interior of Bear Market features Wenge and Sycamore wood panelling, a dark oak wood flooring and light fabrics.
Salon:
The salon offers a comfortable area both for lounging and dining. There is ample seating with a sofa on the port side and interior dining for 8 guests on the starboard side. There is also a wet bar with a fridge and an icemaker on the starboard side of the salon.
Forward is the pilot house with 3 comfortable chairs in dark brown leather.
The salon features a 42' Flatscreen HD TV, an iPod docking station, Blue Ray DVD Player and Sky TV. There is also an iPad with a large selection of movies.
Accommodation:
Bear Market sleeps 9 guests in four cabins on the lower deck. Master Stateroom, a VIP, a double and a twin cabin with a pullman bed, all ensuite.
Master Stateroom:
The Master stateroom is located mid ship with a central King-size double bed. The cabin has large portholes to port and starboard giving plenty of natural light. There is a Settee port side and a Vanity to starboard as well as a small fridge. There is also a large walk-in closet and an en suite with his & her sinks, a large shower, a head and a bidé and heated towel racks.
The master stateroom has a LG 40' Flatscreen HD TV, Blue Ray DVD, Sky TV and an iPod docking station.
VIP Stateroom:
The VIP Stateroom is located forward with a Central Queen-size double bed. There is a settee on the starboard side and two closets. The en suite is equipped with a shower, a zink, a head and heated towel racks.
Aquos 40' Flatscreen HD TV, Blue Ray DVD and an iPod docking station.
Double cabin:
The double cabin is located starboard with a double bed and a closet. The en suite has a good size shower, a zink and a head.
Samsung 22' Flatscreen HD TV and a Blue Ray DVD player.
Twin Cabin:
Located on the port side, the Twin cabin has two single beds and a pullman bed. There is a closet and the en suite has a shower, a sink and a head.

The staterooms are all equipped with Molton Brown products and Ralph Lauren towels and dressing gowns.
Entertainment:
3G Wi-Fi Internet throughout. New HD LED LCD TV's throughout. Sky TV in Salon and in the Master Stateroom.
iPod docking stations in the Salon, the Master and VIP cabins. Blue Ray DVD players in salon and all cabins.
