The Boat
The number one priority during our design of BEST REVENGE 5 was ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of her guests. We know that not all of our guests are avid or experienced sailors - in fact, some of our previous guests had never even been on a boat before taking a BEST REVENGE cruise.
We knew BR5 would deliver an exciting sailing experience. But we saw no reason why our guests shouldn't also enjoy the comforts of home while aboard. In designing BR5, we made sure to include features that would make their stay more comfortable and entertaining, including a spacious salon with a full wet bar, a separate seating area with three single-person “comfy chairs”, a dining table that converts into a cocktail table; and a state-of-the-art entertainment center with a large LCD screen; extra seating in the spacious cockpit that features luxurious thicker-contoured cushions; and easy-to-use fresh-water toilets just like those you might find at home.
Nick Baxter and Lucy Fletcher have become the latest great crew on BEST REVENGE 5 - and we are thrilled they have joined us. Their extensive chartering experience has positioned them to already become stars and they have stepped in to become integrally involved in continuously updating the services, features, extras and creature comforts aboard. We're pleased and lucky to have them.
We also know that our guests want to get the most out of their escape to paradise, so we have gone to great lengths to include the most popular water-sports equipment, amazing audio and visual systems, personalized menus and new sailing areas to our repertoire.
We believe that we have created the perfect charter catamaran in BEST REVENGE 5, and that our fine crew and extensive customized features make BEST REVENGE 5 one of the most luxurious, comfortable and charterer-friendly yachts around. We invite you to come and spend a week (or more!) on board to see for yourselves.
The Salon
As soon as you step into the interior of BEST REVENGE 5, the luxurious craftsmanship of her layout and design will become apparent. Her interior has been carefully designed to ensure the best use of the space, and the finish and materials were chosen to maximize comfort and attractive-ness. The seating includes a large couch / coffee table, as well as three “comfy-chairs”, all with deep, plush cushioning covered with an upgraded UltraSuede, so you don’t “stick” to the furniture when dressed in shorts, skirts or swimsuits.
The audio-visual entertainment system is as good as it gets on the water – a 45” LCD screen TV, a DirecTV satellite system, a Sony Playstation 2, a progressive scan DVD player, VCR & CD players, an iPod dock, and an impressive library of DVDs. A full wet-bar area, complete with an ice maker and drinks’ fridge, is designed to cater to your every need at cocktail hour. And to absolutely insure every comfort, BR5 has an over-powered air conditioning system (zoned for each room) that will insure that you beat the heat in any weather.
The Accommodations
Every aspect of the cabin interior has been carefully considered to provide a comfortable and spacious environment. Each of the four en-suite staterooms (two queens and two kings) feature a separate seating area with a mini-desk and independent mini-audio & video systems, and are adorned with customized embroidered linens and light, hypo-allergenic down-filled duvets, guaranteed to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. In each cabin, there is a hanging wardrobe and plenty of storage space, even for the most overzealous packer in your group!
The en-suite bathrooms are modern and spacious, with beautiful sea foam green marbleized counters. The futuristic multi-headed showers and state of the art toilets will make you forget that you are on a boat. No luxury has been spared.
The Cuisine
Your personal chef Lucy is truly an extraordinary and passionate chef. Her culinary skills and love of cooking will be evident in every meal that she prepares for her guests. She is enthusiastic about everything she cooks and offers a wide range of international cuisine in her repertoire. Her attention to every detail of each meal – from the use of fresh local ingredients to the artistic presentation – will be evident from your first meal on board. And both Nick and Lucy complement Lucy’s culinary excellence with presentation skills that would make a 3 star restaurateur jealous.
Your week’s menu will be completely catered to you and your group’s preferences and tastes, and Lucy will ensure that all the meals that you receive aboard will be to your utmost satisfaction. She even has the expertise to customize menus for those who have allergy sensitivities or who prefer raw and/or vegan cuisine.
Wake up to another beautiful sunny morning and enjoy an outstanding breakfast. The perfect start to the day. Breakfast is always served with gourmet coffees and teas, fresh Caribbean fruit and Lucy’s extraordinary morning specialties.
After a morning sail, we drop the anchor in a pristine Caribbean bay. After a quick swim or snorkel, you return to a boat to find a wonderful lunch displayed on the cockpit table with homemade treats and fresh salads.
In case the rigors of life aboard are too taxing, Lucy offers a delectable wide selection of afternoon gourmet hors d’oeuvres, available as you heart desires. And lest we forget, as the “witching hour” approaches, Nick has an extensive cocktail repertoire. Each cocktail hour will present a new opportunity to try them all.
As the sun melts onto the horizon, the table is set for dinner. Each course that emerges from the galley is a delectable treat. Fine wines are carefully selected to complement each dish and a wide selection of cognacs, whiskies and liquors will complete a perfect meal.
Watersports
BEST REVENGE 5 is fully stocked with nearly every piece of watersports equipment imaginable! There is truly something for everyone, from our towable two-man tube and beginner water skis for the kids to our high performance water skis, kayaks, paddle boards, wind surfer, and wakeboards for the more adventurous.
Nick is a water sports expert and enthusiast and will be enthusiastic to get you in the water as soon as possible to help you learn new skills or master old ones. Nick is also an expert SCUBA diver – PADI certified as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Dive Instructor and Scuba Rescue Diver. Should you have any desire to try out some dives, just ask and Nick will be there for you.
For those of you interested in a more relaxed pace, just grab a mask and snorkel and jump over the side to explore the many beautiful, pristine reefs teeming with fish. Lucy and Nick are both expert snorkelers and know all the best (and a few secret) spots to explore and enjoy.
There won’t be enough hours in the day for you to enjoy every water sport from BR5, but that doesn’t mean you can’t try…

Nick and Lucy are a dynamic and welcoming team who instantly help adventurers feel relaxed and right at home. Nick and Lucy met in South Africa, where they both hail from. They have an intimate knowledge of BEST REVENGE 5'S sailing areas and are a dedicated team ensuring that you have the best time possible while on your vacation. They love entertaining guests on board and take pride in anticipating every guest's needs. Whether you would like to try wake-boarding, slip into crystal clear water for a spot of snorkeling, or simply relax on deck with a good book whilst sipping your favorite cocktail, Nick and Lucy will be there to fulfill your needs. They have been together for 5 years, spending the most recent 4 years in the British Virgin Islands and St Maarten, Guadeloupe. With their great sense of humour, excellent hosting skills and infectious zest for life they are the perfect hosts ensuring their guests enjoy the ultimate holiday.
Captain Nick Baxter
Originally from the small town of Ficksburg, South Africa, Nick grew up sailing Hobie Cats, fishing and diving. His love of the ocean, nature and wildlife has been a constant motivator to share the joys of the great outdoors, particularly the ocean, with others. From a young age, Nick made the sea his home and passion. He is also an avid amateur photographer with a love of wildlife and underwater photography.
A safe, fun loving and skilled Captain and Dive Instructor, Nick is a fantastic guide to both the skills of sailing and the beauty of what lies beneath the waves.
Nick is an RYA Yacht Master Ocean Certified Captain as well as a Certified PADI Dive Instructor, with many specialities under his weight belt. He is both patient and extremely knowledgeable helping new divers feel at ease and ensuring an unforgettable experience.
First Mate & Chef Lucy Fletcher
Lucy – whose family hailed originally from Ireland – grew up in the heart of South Africa and has always had a passion for travelling. She soon concluded that the best way to travel was under sail! Since then, she has worked delivering yachts as a deckhand in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and as chef and 1st Mate on charter yachts. Lucy has a real passion for creating delicious dishes in the galley.
The foundations of her cookery come from the eclectic mixing pot that makes South Africa the rainbow nation – supplemented by her recent experiences as a yacht chef aboard sailing charters in the French West Indies. She loves trying new recipes and enjoys cooking internationally inspired cuisine and fosters a strong respect for the natural beauty in flavours and textures of the ingredients and products that are seasonally, locally available. Lucy is happy to meet any guest’s requirements and put smiles on their faces with her delightful culinary treats. Note: Lucy can specialize her menus for any guest’s requirements, including providing specific menus for any who are allergy sensitive and prefer “raw” or “vegan” cuisines.

BEST REVENGE 5 Accommodations
BEST REVENGE 5 can accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 staterooms (2 with king size beds and 2 with queens). Each has a full en-suite bathroom with a multi-head shower, an electric fresh-water toilet, luxury toiletries, and a high wattage blow dryer. Each stateroom features a small settee / love seat with a private desk; an individually-zoned air conditioning system; two individual reading lights at the bed; a mini-sound system and a portable DVD player; substantial drawer and cabinet space; and 1 or 2 standing closets. The yacht is fully air conditioned throughout - which can be used anytime you want - whether at a dock or under way. The Crew's quarters are entered separately from the back of the salon and have a separate head and shower.
