Simon & Stephanie, originally from England and Sweden, a young, fun couple who met through a joining of mutual interests and a passion for the sea.
Simon is a water sports enthusiast who grew up with dinghy sailing and ski boats on the Thames and inland reservoirs in Kent, southern England. Following university he went to pursue a career in finance on the island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The draw of the sea was too strong and a career change was inevitable. He took some time to travel and further enhance his sailing skills, racing up and down the east coast of Australia and back home in the Solent, taking part in the infamous Fastnet race. He has delivered and crewed on large charter boats covering an expanse of the Globe including Atlantic, Pacific, West and Eastern Med, Caribbean and more.
Simon, an Ocean Yachtmaster and sailing instructor, is happy to teach most water sports and get everyone involved with the sailing experience.
Stephanie, a Coastal Skipper and Cordon Bleu Trained Chef, with her library of five languages, some studied at Sorbonne in Paris, used her skills to work while travelling much of Europe. She has been closely involved in the service industry since leaving university, working in some fine catering establishments. Her desire to travel led her to the super yacht circuit where her skills were noticed and she was soon promoted from stewardess/crew cook to head chef on a famous 40m sloop.
After working on larger boats together, they decided it was time that they took on the challenge for themselves and ran a 24m Baltic Sloop sailing the Greek islands and much of the Mediterranean on private and charter use.
Simon and Stephanie provide the perfect team with their unique combination of diverse skills to provide an exiting and energetic or the most enjoyable and relaxing sailing holiday you could imagine.
