BLUE STAR III Crew Profile
Captain:Manlio Felsi
Born in Italy, close to Ancona, in 1960, Manlio well cultivated person, loving cruising, dynamic with pleasant character. Previous experience showed great appreciation from the charterers, owners and guests. He owns Diploma in Touristic studies, awarded by the Bologna University for Economics, Liceo scientifico T.C. Onesti Fermo (AP).
Professional yachting international experience as skipper on sailing and motor boats, capable of boat organization and maintenance matching owner’s requirement and charterer’s need. Very good knowledge of Mediterranean seas and Caribbean islands. Flexible thinking and facilities in relationship with people.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES, started in 1987-88 onboard of Dulcinea 47 Rpd Nelson,crossing Mediterranean from Ancona to Gibraltar and Atlantic Ocean to Martinica. Charter around Caribbean sea (Martinica, Grenadines and Venezuela). Crossing back the Atlantic Ocean in April than again in May-October as deck-hand on a sailing boat "BLUE LAGOON" 65 ft. Completing the season cruising Greek islands until Rhodes and Croatia.
Since than he never stopped to work on yachts earning the various specialization and improving his experience year after year on board of various boats. The recent years he was onboard of M/Y “LIFE” Maiora 31mt as skipper in May and June, charter Croatia. From July 2009-until now, for summer 2012 he joined the M/Y BLUE STAR III Dalla Pietà 59 (18mt) as captain.
LICENCE AND CERTIFICATE Manlio owns all professional certificate for charters yachts.Yacht Ocean Master, issued by the harbor-office of Rome n° S044831N date 03/04/98. Italian Nautical License for pleasure boat, issued by the harbor-office of San Benedetto del Tronto the 21/07/87 n.1500 - Radio telephonic certificate for ship n. 82703/AN - Open water patent SSI.
FURTHER NEWS: Participations in several regattas in Adriatic and Tyrrhenian seas. Good technical mechanic and maintenance skills. Windsurfing instructor for 8 years. Very good cook.

Lucilla adore sea and nature, she is deeply interested into Well-being; enthusiastic and creative, she made customer care her primary objective.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES, she was onboard Blue Star III as hostess-cook from July 2011 to September 2011 and previously onboard of S/Y Free Wind as hostess for the full season 2010, showing to be precious covering the following responsibilities: meals and kitchen, cleaning, co-skipper.
Instruction and training : Her university degree and other courses are mainly linked to Medicine-Pharmacy specialization but her passion for the good food lead her to attend the “Gambero Rosso” cooking School 2008 cooking training sessions; other courses are: 2012 Emotional Freedom Technique; 2011 Life Coach – Omega Healing; Xin Shu 2008-2011 Traditional Chinese Medicine; 2008 Practitioner on Neuro-Linguistic Programming; Strategic Therapy Center of Arezzo 2005-2007 Master in Strategic Communication and Problem Solving; 2006-2007 Reiki; Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza” 1995 Degree in Pharmacy. A very nice person, cultivated and active onboard, good cooking ..for happy guests.

BLUE STAR III Accommodations
BLUE STAR III can accommodate 6 guests in 3 cabins. The Master cabin has a double bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have a twin bed, shower and toilet. BLUE STAR III is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate heads and shower.
