Nic Edmunds

Captain

Nic grew up in New Zealand, also known as the 'Land of the long white cloud' or 'Aotearoa' to the locals. For as long as he can remember, Nic was determined to be a Captain. At the age of 17 he left New Zealand and flew to the Balearic Islands to pursue a career in yachting. Over the past ten years he has worked on a variety of yachts ranging from 20m-72m, slowly working his way up to Captain. Nic has traveled far and wide and continually seeks adventure in new cruising grounds. When he is not working, you can be sure to find him on a golf course with his friends or fishing on the New Zealand coast. Whether you would like to take a tender ride to explore beaches, grab some snorkel gear and find local sea life, or go for a relaxing paddleboard session, he will be more than happy to show you a memorable experience.

He was born in South Africa, where he grew up in a small surfer town called Ballito. He joined yachting at the age of 21 and have been hooked ever since. His goal is to slowly travel the world one country at a time and eventually captain his own yacht. Gareth is a big lover of nature and enjoys any outdoor activities. Some of his favorite hobbies are photography, enduro racing, spearfishing, diving and any extreme sports. Gareth is a PADI Diving instructor and feels at home being on or in the water.

Troy was born in Virginia, but spent most of his childhood in San Francisco, California “The Golden City”. Growing up in the bay area of San Francisco, Troy has always been interested in boats, especially fixing them. At a very young age he started to purchase, refit, and flip small boats for a profit. Ever since then he knew he wanted to pursue a career in the marine industry and when the time came he went to a marine technician school. Shortly after, in 2012, he discovered the yachting industry and has not turned back since. His engineering skills led him to get his US Coast Guard “Designated Duty Engineer 1000” license. A true engineer at heart, whenever he is not working on the yacht he always has a new project and is still turning wrenches and working on his truck.

Agnese (Aga) was born in a small town in Latvia called Sigulda, a town known for forestry and outdoor activities. She left Latvia at the age of 20 to work in an establishment which helped teenagers and adults who were facing social and professional issues. She soon moved on to pursue a career in the hotel industry at the 5* ‘Claridges’ in London, where she worked for the following four years in the VIP service team. In 2011 Aga was given an opportunity to work on a yacht in Germany. Within the past six years, Aga has served on yachts ranging from 25m to 80m. In this time she has worked in a range of positions working her way up to Chief Stewardess on a 55m yacht. Aga loves to travel and savour those moments with her DSLR camera. When Aga is not working, you will find her trekking through foreign countries exploring the roads less travelled. She speaks English, Latvian, and Russian.

Tracy was born and raised in sunny Miami, FL on a 42’ sailboat. She spent most of her childhood in the crystal blue waters of the Bahamas. The sea is where she feels most at home so naturally the yachting industry called her name. Since she joined her first vessel in 2013, she has been cruising the waters of the Bahamas, Caribbean, and New England, providing her guests with comfortable and personalized service with the best experience possible along the way. During her time ashore she enjoys exploring new surrounding and looking through the lens of her camera, capturing the beauty of the surroundings that yachting provides.
