While Swans enjoy a reputation for the best in performance sailing, Capercaillie is also an uniquely comfortable yacht which offers as much fun for children who love water skiing, wake boarding and other water sports as adults who love great food and exceptional sailing.
Capercaillie features three airconditioned cabins including a spacious master suite with a double bed and two guest cabins with one small lower double plus one pullman each. Each cabin has an ensuite bathroom, TV, and DVD.
The spacious teak-panelled main saloon is beautifully furnished and is equipped with a comprehensive entertainment system. The navigation and communications station comes complete with worldwide transmission facilities and state-of-the-art navigation systems.
Being a Swan, Capercaillie is a wide boat and therefore the saloon affords generous space in which to dine, read a book or watch a DVD from the extensive library of adult and children’s titles available on the boat. Or guests might just want to sip a glass of champagne from the well equipped bar whilst listening to their favourite music through the excellent sound system.

CAPERCAILLIE Crew Profile
Captain Jonathan Hammond
Hailing from the United States, Jonathan spent his earlier years sailing in Southern California and the San Francisco Bay where he would buy would buy old sailboats and refit them before setting off to sea. Over the years he has been involved in many regattas and sailing events in the Caribbean, U.S. East and West Coasts and the Mediterranean. Jonathan studied Physics and Music at the University of Kansas and is working towards a degree in Electronic Engineering. Passionate about music and musical instruments, Jonathan spends his vacation time writing and recording songs. He has been involved with Capercaillie for more than four years and has made three Atlantic crossings with her. Jonathan holds a Master of Yachts 200 Ton Offshore license, is trained in First Aid and Firefighting and his number one priority is to make sure everyone has a safe, comfortable and fun experience on board Capercaillie.
Chef/ Stewardess Eva Rahlova, Slovakian
With a cheerful and sunny personality, Eva loves to make sure each and every guest has a tantalizing culinary experience and comfortable stay on Capercaillie. Eva has been cooking many different styles for more than ten years, specializing in Italian/ Mediterranean cuisine, and also loves to offer Asian, Russian, German, Mexican or anything else one might desire. She speaks English, Slovak, Italian, Russian, Czech and German. She holds certifications for Hospitality and Event Management from CNIPA in Italy and has a Doctorate Degree in Social-Political Science from Universita del Salento, Italy. Eva is a highly accomplished seamstress and has worked as a professional sail maker, making sails, awnings and covers. Her creativity has led her to design and make many other unique accessories. In her work on Capercaillie, she loves to make sure that each and every guest has a unique and memorable experience.
First Mate Christopher Parr, Dual citizenship Portugal/UK
Christopher, a Certified diver and avid watersports 'guru' is CAPERCAILLIE's aquatic activities director. He especially enjoys teaching kids - and adults who want to be kids again - snorkeling and water skiing. Christopher holds a UK Yachtmaster Offshsore Limited captain's license.

It was a great trip and the boat and crew were great. We had a really special experience. Eva's food is delicious and she was so accommodating with our picky-eater kids and own healthy eating concerns. Capt. Jon and Edward were both great with the kids too.
We ended up finding great spots to anchor and visit, a perfect mix between civilized spots and desert isle tranquil spots. Big thanks for your help with another dreamy trip!
