Captain

Born in Elm Grove, Wisconsin, Captain Kelly Esser grew up in Fort Lauderdale. Best known as the yachting capital of the world, Captain Kelly started in the commercial world of boats/dinner style party yachts and ultimately transitioned into private yachts. This beginning helped teach him to deal with many unique situations. He worked his way up to Master 1600/3000 ton USCG License. He has traveled the Mediterranean/Pacific West Coast USA & Canada/Caribbean and extensively the Bahamas and the East Coast of the United States. Kelly is a certified PADI diver/salvage diver, has a real passion for deep sea fishing and truly knows how to show anyone how to have a good time. Kelly’s main focus is to show you a first-class experience onboard the M/Y Cheers46. With over 10 years of Bahamas chartering experience, he has the ability to show you a memorable adventure. When Kelly isn’t at sea he can be found with his wife and two kids.

Nina was born and raised in Bosnia and Hercegovina in a small mountain town. She spent her time as a volunteer for the Red Cross, helping people all over the country. Nina later moved to Montenegro where she discovered the yachting industry. Six years later you’ll find her here on Cheers 46 and loving her job. Throughout her career she has traveled to over 20 beautiful countries! In her free time she plays women’s rugby (I know judging by the size of her we didn’t believe it either). She enjoys hiking and is obsessed with Jetskis! Nina puts her heart into her work and she will go the extra miles to ensure that you have a fantastic time on board!

Jana was born and raised deep in the mountains of the Czech Republic. She spent much of her childhood skiing and hiking in the Czech Beskyd Mountains. She moved to Prague, capital city, where she completed her Graduate Certificate in Tourism Management. She started working for a famous tourist restaurant in the heart of Prague as Head of Service Department. Jana has a passion for travelling and different cultures. She speaks 4 languages fluently: English, Spanish, Polish and Czech. She moved to Gran Canaria Island in Spain and started working in hospitality. She has found new passion for the sea. Her love for the water and service drew her to the yachting industry. She started in 2015 in Mallorca, and since then has cruised the Mediterranean Sea and around the Caribbean. When not giving the best service possible she likes to venture to new places, scuba dive and practice all kinds of yoga.

Kimberly was born and raised in northern Quebec, Canada. Growing up in a region surrounded by lakes has made it natural for her to become passionate about fishing and hunting at a young age. As soon as she graduated high school, she was eager to travel around Canada to discover more about her country. Since then, she has traveled around Asia, USA, South America, Mexico, Cuba, and the Mediterranean. Kimberly moved to the Capital of her province to study massage therapy. During the past 8 years of practicing in that domain, she has also gained a Diploma as a Dental Assistant and in her spare time worked in her hometown’s microbrewery. Her latest passion is for motorcycles, after navigating Southern California while driving an Indian Scout. When she was hired to work at L’Auberge Saint Antoine, one of the most prestige hotel Spas in Quebec City, she knew the hospitality industry suited her perfectly and decided to take a break from her land based job and join the wonderful industry of yachting.

Noah was born in San Louis Obispo, CA. but raised in Arizona. He grew up in a small ranch town called Rio Rico where he enjoyed rock climbing and racing dirt bikes. He started his career as a chef working in a small mom and pop breakfast and sandwich shops. After attending two semesters at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, he decided to leave and explore culinary school. He went to one of the top schools in the nation, New England Culinary School in 1996. After completing his degree, he has traveled around the United States and now a lot of the world learning new techniques to provide his clients with world-class cuisine. Although classically French trained he has varying styles ranging from Italian, Asian, Latin and more. Not only does he produce wonderful food but he also makes fine spirits such as bourbon, gin and tequila. He is easy to talk to and loves a challenge.

Chris was born in Montreal, Canada. He has always loved taking things apart just to see how they work. He done all kinds of cool things in his life form building robots my major factories to building high-end homes in Montreal. But he really loves to work on yachts. He started 10 years ago and has not looked back. Chris’ engineering background is so vast that there is not enough room to put it on paper. Just be glad he’s our engineer. When Chris is not fixing something he in his RV traveling, seeing the country, fishing, or even 4-wheeling. Chris has a real passion to keep moving!

Born in land locked Pennsylvania, somehow Laura found her way to the sea in 2006 and fell in love with her yachting career. With a university degree in aviation, and a private pilot’s license, it seemed practical for Laura to join the deck and navigation side of the industry. Laura was a professional gymnast for 18 years, which is why her calves are so amazing. Laura has worked her way up the ranks, and currently holds an MCA Chief Mate 3000 Ton License. She is actively working on her 3000 Ton master qualification. With 11 years in the industry, Laura has traveled the world and been to over 70 countries. When she is not navigating, running the deck, driving tenders, and assisting you with watersports, she enjoys relaxing, scuba diving, reading, team sports, traveling, and laughing. If you need any assistance on the deck do not hesitate to ask Laura, she’s always happy to help.

Born and raised in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand, Andrew is passionate about the outdoors and the ocean. After graduating with a Geography degree, he decided to join the Super Yacht industry to pursue his interest in travelling and boats. With 7 years of experience working on boats ranging from 400ft to 140ft and 6 Atlantic crossings, he truly has enjoyed cruising the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas and East Coast USA. A few of Andrew’s interests outside of yachting include surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, playing golf and watching rugby. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need help with anything on deck as he is always happy to help!!

Sebastian Robinson is a first generation American, born and raised in San Diego, California. While growing up in southern California he has been surrounded by water sports, off road vehicles and many other outdoor healthy lifestyle activities. During college, he worked as site supervisor for the YMCA where he learned great patience, a soft touch for childcare while also working as a manager in a retail shop. Upon receiving an opportunity to work in Miami as a retail manager he was introduced to the yachting industry. Soon after he decided to give it a try and joined M/Y Cheers 46. He is very excited to welcome you onboard and make you’re here time memorable. In his free time, you can find Sebastian playing a variety of sports including basketball, practicing yoga or having fun on the beach.
