Captain: J. DAVID KENNEDY
Captain Dave is a New Jersey native and got his first taste of sailing at the young age of five on the island of Nantucket with his Father. After leaving the University of Southern Maine, Dave headed out to Santa Cruz, California and took a deck position aboard a Bill Lee designed Santa Cruz 70 racing sailboat. Dave began his career as a professional Mariner in 1996 and since has had the good fortune to charter in some of the world’s most desirable locations, including France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, & the Caribbean to name a few. Capt Dave enjoys jazz, paddle boarding, photography, and traveling in his down time.
Chef: JOHN CHAMBERLAIN
John is originally from Pittsfield, Massachusetts, a small resort town in the Berkshires by the New York border, John started his cooking career at a young age, catering for Musicians Bob Dylan and James Taylor near his home. He then went on to get his Associate Degree from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Since finishing his schooling, John has worked in a number of Restaurants and Resorts in Massachusetts, California, and Nevada, several holding the acclaim of Mobil 5 Star and Relaix Chateau. While working in Boston John was hired to cook a dinner party for the Daughter of a yacht Owner. The Father was so impressed that he offered him the job aboard his yacht and 2 weeks later John entered the yachting world, sharing his culinary talents throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean, and the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. Since entering yachting John has won 2nd Place in the St. Maarten Charter Show Chef Competition, been recognized as Top 10 Caribbean Charter Chefs, and been featured in cooking demonstrations on TV. In his spare time John enjoys golfing, fishing, skiing, hiking and mountain climbing. John looks forward to making your stay aboard CLAIRE a gastronomic feast, while providing exciting and unique presentations throughout your time aboard CLAIRE.
Chief Stewardess: KIRSTIN J. MULLER
Kirstin is a south Florida native, having grown up on the east coast, in Jupiter. Kirstin was running around at a very young age on her 17’ Boston Whaler and enjoying all that the crystal clear waters had to offer. She attended Florida Atlantic University, gaining a degree in Finance and went on to a career in Real Estate sales. Seven years ago, she got her first taste of working on luxury motor yachts and has not looked back since. She has worked in some of the world’s most desirable locations such as the Bahamas, Caribbean, Italy, France, Croatia, and Greece to name a few. Kirstin enjoys cooking, paddle boarding, photography and travel in her off time.
Engineer: YOUDESKER BASDERO
Youdie hails from Guyana on the Caribbean shores of South America. Youdie originally started out as a fitter machinist onboard cruise ships; since those days he has amassed a vast knowledge of engineering and yachting, having worked on many prestigious private and charter yachts over the years. Youdie is a proud farther and family man who also has a passion for automobiles and enjoys spending his free time fishing.
Bosun: MATT HINDMARCH
Matt is from the city of Durban, South Africa, where he was an avid athlete and spent much of his free time diving and sailing. With his need for excitement and thrill seeking in order to keep him happy, Matt is always looking for new and exciting ways to amuse and entertain guests and crew alike! After a year at University studying medicine, Matt quickly realized that his true love was the water, so he took off, Nomad style, and jumped aboard small sailboat from Durban to France. Whilst travelling Europe, he found himself on a yacht and has never looked back. He has quickly acquired solid experience and the qualification required for the, job and has proven himself to be a great compliment to the Crew of CLAIRE.
Stewardess: JADE GALWAY
Jade was born and raised in Durban, South Africa and graduated from Varsity College with a Bachelors degree in Communication Science. Before joining the “corporate world”, Jade decided to take a few years to explore the world before beginning her career and joined M/Y CLAIRE. Jade has been taken by surprise by the yachting industry and has adapted accordingly. She loves the travel, meeting people from all over the world, and interacting with different cultures. She loves to do any kind of outdoor activity such as water sports, beaching, running, and just taking time to explore. Jade’s infectious happiness and positive energy is a tremendous asset to every charter and makes her an invaluable member of CLAIRE’s Crew!

CLAIRE can accommodate 10 guests in 5 cabins. The Master cabin has a king size bed, shower and toilet. 3 Guest cabins have a king size bed, shower and toilet. A Guest cabin has a twin bed, shower and toilet. CLAIRE is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate heads and shower.
