COCKTAILS 157 Crew Profile
Charlie Johnson – Captain
Charlie was born in Seattle, Washington, where boats were always in Charlie's life growing up. When he was 21 years old he got his first job on a yacht as a deckhand on a 96-foot classic yacht, built in 1928, based in southern California. The yacht cruised from Alaska to Mexico. He obtained his first Captain's license a few years later and started delivering yachts from Florida to California through the Panama Canal. He has held various jobs captaining large sport fishing yachts in the beginning of his career. Over the years the yachts got bigger and he found himself overseeing construction of 6 Mega-yachts in total ranging from 125 feet to 200 feet and cruising them all over the world as Captain. He has cruised extensively from Alaska to Panama, Maine to Venezuela, through the Caribbean, Bahamas and all of Europe, including 3 Atlantic crossings and 22 transits through the Panama Canal. Captain Charlie's impeccable safety record will ensure your guests have a worry free relaxed time. You will also enjoy his professionalism and his outgoing and fun nature.

Amy was born in a small town in Ohio and fell in love with the ocean from her very first family vacations to the beaches in the Carolinas. Studying Design at Kent State University introduced her to traveling & she pursued a photography career in NYC, then South Miami Beach, FL, and she knew then that there was more of the world she had to see! Thriving in creative industries, her career-path has taken her from TV & media, special event planning, to a Director of Recreation in luxury brand resorts and residences in the Caribbean & Virgin Islands, where she managed all water-sports and a 53’ sailing catamaran with 2 captains & 8 crew. In 2006, she befriended the crew of one of the world’s largest super-yachts and was later invited to come join the private yachting industry. She loves to create unique once-in-a-lifetime experiences for guests, taking genuine care of your every detail and making your trip as pleasant, relaxed and memorable as possible, no matter what country you’re visiting!

It was not long before he gravitated towards the engineering field and discovered his new passion. As the years progressed, Dave gained advanced engineering certificates. Whenever time allows, Dave enjoys being the master chef behind his BBQ, improving his golf score, and training for triathlons.
Katie Brewer– Second Stewardess
Katie was born and raised in Columbus Ohio, and went to a French immersion grade school. Prior to joining the yachting industry, Katie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and worked in healthcare counseling. Working in a fine dining restaurant Katie was able to gain invaluable hospitality experience, and further her knowledge in French cuisine and culture. Her yachting career has taken her to many places, with Alaska and Croatia being her favorite spots so far. Katie enjoys yoga, film, and when time permits a good book. Katie is a bright and eager member of our team here on Cocktails, and looks forward to making your stay onboard a memorable one.
Maxwell Anderson - Bosun
Growing up in northern Indiana, Max always knew there was more to life than corn. Playing ice hockey and enjoying the company of friends around the neighborhood taught him about teamwork and friendship. He caught the travel bug at 18 when he and 6 friends spent New Years in Dublin, Ireland. Since then, he’s been overseas 4 times. Max has been in the industry 3 years and hasn’t looked back. Owning his own business is his dream. When he’s not yachting, he enjoys anything on a mountain from camping to snowboarding. He’s here to make your experience on Cocktails as memorable and safe as possible.

Born and raised in Southern California, Casey comes from a family with a deep nautical past that ran tug boats in New York Harbor c. 1900 and is the great-great grandson of Captain R. F. Carter who started tours of Niagara Falls aboard the vessel 'Maid of the Mist.' He enjoys many water sports and has experience in everything from sailing and fishing, to free diving and surfing. He has over 10 years of experience in boating, but is relatively new to the yachting industry and is looking forward to all of the great charter guests and adventures in his future.
Mandy Birosak - Stewardess
Mandy was born and raised in sunny southern California. She wasn't raised around boats, just knew she loved the ocean so much, what better way to be on it 24/7 than to become a stewardess and eventually a captain. Mandy enjoys traveling, swimming, hiking and long boarding. She's a country girl at heart and loves to joke around. Mandy hasn't been everywhere, but it is on her list.
