CREW PROFILE
STEVE EDWARDS - CAPTAIN Cuan Law's Skipper, Stephen Edwards, comes from Portsmouth on the south coast of England. Prior to Cuan Law he ran his own RYA recognized Sea School in the Solent (indeed teaching the previous Cuan Law skipper), and also worked as a Control Engineer / Project Manager on underwater weapon systems! During this time he became the only man on the planet to try to shoot down a helicopter with a torpedo! Sailing and boats took over though, and office life became unfulfilling...so now he is here driving Cuan Law! Steve is a keen diver who enjoys the coral and particularly the wreck dives in the BVI. He dives with the guests whenever possible. Steve has been skipper since late '04 and loves to sail as much as possible.

SCOT FERRIS - ENGINEER Scott first worked with us as a relief steward in 1999, since then we have enjoyed each others company regularly and in various capacities. He is currently engineer, but gets in the water and leads a dive whenever he can convince people to follow him. In between sessions aboard the Cuan Law he has traveled extensively and basically avoided work and commitments along the way, this results in numerous tall tales (mauled by a tiger in Thailand and chased by an elephant in Laos amongst others), and, in between, the mutually beneficial ability to hang out cruising the BVI on Cuan Law. Scott is also a great photographer. He is standing beside one he took from the mast head of Cuan Law, which is hung on board.

ROBIN THOMPSON - CHEF Robin, our chef, has been with the Cuan Law for a year and a half. He is a native of Ireland where he grew up on his family’s farm. From a young boy he was out herding sheep and, as a teenager had an unfortunate incident, in front of prominent local ladies which could have been potentially scarring. However our ever smiling hero has turned this memory to his advantage by reciting it in amongst his ever growing comedy sketches and magic trick repertoire. His talent for quick wit and enthusiasm for life on Cuan law has him firmly established as a much loved crew member as well as Mr. Entertainment- oh yes and he’s a fabulous chef too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OLIVER FREEMAN - DIVER Ollie blessed us with his presence after he graduated from University and failed to find a job in the 'Real World'. He has few addictions in life but coffee, diving & sailing all number in the top 3, having been diving for 8 years, sailing for 12 and drinking coffee for 24. Since joining us in January he has slowly learned his place as 'Ollie the Wally' but still hopes he may leave 'the Wally' behind one day. Ollie's only regret is he is yet to see/meet DIverman as he always seems to be busy whenever Diverman shows up. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JACKIE WILLIAMSON - DIVER
Originally from Canada, the land of ice and snow, and of course maple syrup, she began diving in Mexico at age 16. She got truly excited about diving on her first boating job in Australia, sailing the Whitsunday islands and diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Jackie joined us in January 2008 and has managed to bring even more light to the sunny Caribbean with her smiles and bubbly attitude. After backpacking around southeast Asia, her travels have brought her here to the BVI to work on Cuan. Much loved by crew and guests alike, Jackie will be here, eager to take you diving!
KAT BUNTING - STEWARDESS Kat is 27 and our very own born and bred Essex girl. She graduated university in 2004 with a degree in psychology and a longing to travel. She grew up on the estuary of the river Blackwater where she learnt to sail, and from and early age developed a love for frolicking on the waves. Kat joined Cuan Law in January 2007 and within her first week was christened the Queen of Clumsy racking up a record number of “Cuan kisses” . With her donkey laugh and passion for creating cocktails she’ll make sure you have a trip of a lifetime. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EMMA NOBLE - STEWARDESS Emma Noble joined Cuan Law October 2005 and worked as a stewardess for a year before going traveling in New Zealand for a further year. Emma has now re-joined the boat and is working towards achieving her dive master certification. Emma's bright personality and personal touches will surely enhance every guest's experience aboard the Cuan Law. Be sure to ask her for some of her signature cocktails. The perfect end to a perfect day in paradise. Unfortunately we seem to have lost Emma's head!!!!!!!
