Chartering in the Bahamas, West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean and the Caribbean

About CYGNUS CYGNUS

Operating in the Bahamas, West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean and the Caribbean

Named for the national bird of Finland, CYGNUS CYGNUS, from the drafting table of German Frers — a name inextricably linked to the fine output of Nautor Swan, among other models in the elite world of yachting — is available for performance charters in premier sailing grounds.

It’s available throughout the Mediterranean, particularly in Croatia,  in summer 2018, the Caribbean in winter 2019 and in the Mediterranean again in summer 2019. CYGNUS CYGNUS is best suited for groups of up to six adults and two children. It sails with a captain and chef.

The new Ocean Explorer 60 from Ocean Quality Systems embodies the Scandinavian archetype of its sister models. The combination of high performance and abundant living and entertaining areas makes the Ocean Explorer 60 comparable to a performance cruising monohull, while maintaining a very shallow draft to reach more destinations.

Designed with an efficient hull shape yet plentiful room for four guest cabins (three queens and one over-under cabin), the yacht exudes exemplary attention to detail. It’s a unique balance between comfort and performance and won’t be overtaken by other catamarans in her class.

Crew Profile

Captain: Garren Erlenbusch

Garren has sailed everywhere from the northern Baltic Sea to the deserted atolls across the South Pacific. He has had the fortunate opportunity to sail on board many performance catamarans, mainly as captain, as well as aboard a variety of vessels -- from motor yachts and traditionally rigged schooners to smaller modern 64-foot monohulls -- in a variety of crew positions.

Garren received his first captain's license when he was 18 and has been in yachting ever since. He is also trained to fly planes, gliders and para gliders.

Garren enjoys sailing, scuba diving, reading, flying, and hiking. He also plays the cello. He welcomes kids of all ages onboard! He personally enjoys teaching sailing to kids.
