Tim, born in the central region of England, well away from the ocean life was lucky enough to be introduced to the sea when visiting friends on the south coast of England. Here he discovered the joys of sailing and diving. He soon wised up and started travelling to far off, warmer destinations to fulfill a taste for culture, adventure, and discovery. Many years were spent as a diving instructor, interspersed with time teaching sailing, both bringing great satisfaction seeing people enjoy, learn, and overcome fears and difficulties. Both were eventually put aside to pursue a career in Yachting. Through his career, Tim has been lucky enough to have crossed many of the vast oceans of our planet and enjoys coastal cruising discovering intimate anchorages for guests to enjoy their time aboard. The Caribbean, Alaska, US east coast, Europe, Australia, and SE Asia are amongst the many places Tim has enjoyed Sailing over the years. Whilst on board Tim and the rest of the crew will prioritise your safety and look forward to helping you relax and enjoy the Dona Lola experience.
When not at sea, you will find Tim trying to fight off the years, mostly on his bicycle as well as many other sporting pursuits as well as the far less physically challenging game of chess.
