10/04 Captain Mike Beardall is from Canada and has been with ENDEAVOUR for 11 years. He was first positioned on ENDEAVOUR as engineer in July 1993 and became her captain in July 1997. To date, Mike has logged well over 85,000 ocean miles with ENDEAVOUR and has earned his MCA Class IV Certificate. Mike is a calm, humorous person with a great talent for making sure our charterer’s hhave the greatest yachting experience of their lives.
First Mate Greg Yeo is from New Zealand. He joined ENDEAVOUR in November 1999 and has logged over 55,000 ocean miles to date. Greg has been accepted to test for his MCA Class IV Certificate.
Engineer Lars Christensen was born in Alaska. He joined ENDEAVOUR in December 1999 and has logged over 40,000 ocean miles. Lars has earned his USCG 100 ton license.
Chef Karen Smart is from Scotland. She joined ENDEAVOUR in May 2003. Her experience as a chef has been put to good use on various yachts including: YANNEKE TOO, REBECCA, UNFURLED, CATALYST and CHARLATAN. Karen attended Le Cordon Bleu in London England and Edinburgh Cookery School in Scotland.
Assistant Engineer Trevor Fulton is from Canada and joined ENDEAVOUR in April 2003.
Deckhand Chris Robson is from Australia. He joined ENDEAVOUR in April 2004.
Chief Stewardess Melissa Flanagan is from America and joined ENDEAVOUR in November 2002.
Stewardess Jacqueline Blair is from Scotland. She joined ENDEAVOUR in February 2003. Jacqui has an honors degree in Marine Biology.
ENDEAVOUR is the holder of the Lipton Trophy, a regatta hosted by the Lymington Yacht Club in England for the J Boats during the time of the America’s Cup Jubilee. She also was the winner in her class at the Jubilee. Other races ENDEAVOUR has been a part of include: the Classics Yacht Regatta in Antigua, the St. Bart’s Bucket, Opera House Regatta in Nantucket and the Nantucket Bucket.
