Pioneer CD/MP3/WMA Stereo with Ipod docking and charging capability located in lower saloon. Audio speakers x2 externally located in cockpit with internal speakers x2 in upper saloon and additional speakers in galley and lower saloon x2. Fade capability allows separate control of volume adjustment between cockpit and saloon speakers.

Second CD player in the Owner's Cabin with separate speakers.

Multi-region DVD player with DivX playing capability connected to a 26" Phillips flat panel HD Ready TV in main Saloon. Western Digital media player allowing playback of .avi .mov and .mp4 via hard drive connection also HDMI linked to the TV.  A separate and easily accessible HDMI cable available for linking HDMI compatible PC’s and Digital Photographic equipment also available.

The 24V power onboard is Inverted or generated to 220V with UK style plugs.  Crew can provide adapters as necessary and if devices are not multi voltage (110-240V) there are also 12V auto type sockets located in Upper and Lower Saloon and some cabins. Small electronic devices requiring 110V can then be run through a portable inverter.

Whilst in the BVI Fuerte has access to WiFi through a MiFi device.  This can accept up to 5 devices at any one time.  The upload and download speeds can avry but e-mails can certainly be sent and received.  The crew will happily organise for faxes to be sent alternatively the scanner on board can create a PDF attachment for email.  The crew have a Mobile Phone that may be used as long as the clients reimburse the crew for call charges.

Air Conditioning is located throughout the yacht and can be controlled from each cabin. Please note that AC is only available when the generator is run and if this is required 24/7 at the guests request additional fuel costs will be charged. The generator (5 litres diesel/hr) is run in order to produce power and water for about 4-5 hours a day on average.

Drinks are kept nice and cool in the cockpit table refrigerator.  “Fuerte” is making a concerted effort to reduce plastic bottle use in the Islands and as such filter their own drinking water.  We would love the guests to join in with this initiative but this will be confirmed prior to boarding.

Full Cockpit Bimini keeps the seating area nice and shady whilst additional side attachments assist to keep early sunshine or rain out of the cockpit as required. The main central Bimini section can be removed in 5 minutes if required for a better view of the sails.

Dinghy: Avon / 13ft 0in (4m) / 40HP with central console.  Wakeboard with one size fits all bindings.  Adult water-skis. Mono ski is possible for adults having exited the water on two skis.  Towing ring if you are brave enough.

"Fuerte" now has two high quality Hawaiian style paddleboards.  Sizes are 11.7ft and 10.6ft. Great for flat water exercise (self propelled) or surfing behind the dinghy.  Snorkelling equipment. Foot sizes will be verified prior to boarding to ensure  we have fins for everyone.

Fishing gear comprised of hand lines allowing safer fishing practices under sail.  A fishing License is required whilst fishing in the BVI.  The crew will discuss this with you.

FUERTE Crew Profile

William (age 38) and Julia (Jubee age 37) are an experienced charter crew who have been working together in the marine industry for the past 13 years. When in the UK they live in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight where they married in May 2005 and where both grew up learning to sail dinghies.  They have worked aboard Crewed Charter Yachts for the last 10 years and prior to this they worked for Sunsail in the Mediterannean where William taught budding sailors to safely handle a yacht whilst Jubee would be found managing Sunsail’s Galini Kids Club. As a result they love to have children aboard and always enjoy the challenge of harnessing the children’s interest and boundless energy

William and Jubee love all water-based activities. William holds a degree in Marine Biology and Oceanography, and as a trained PADI Scuba instructor, knows the best rendezvous dive spots. Both are avid snorkellers, and where marine life is abundant you will find William taking photos of your snorkelling adventures that will go home with you to add to your memories of a wonderful trip.  During his career, William has accrued plenty of instructional experience and is well equipped to develop your sailing and water sports skills if you are interested in doing so. In addition, William and Jubee enjoy hiking, and are both good kite surfers, which they enjoy immensely during time off.

Jubee is an extremely versatile chef who will pay special attention to your preferences to offer you a mouth-watering personalised menu. She hopes that the photographic sample menu that she has created leaves little doubt as to the level of food you can expect whilst aboard Fuerte. In addition to these culinary skills, Jubee has Sailed through out her life and is a very accomplished helm. Prior to life on the sea Jubee qualified with a degree in Jewellery design and Manufacture and ran her own jewellery workshop. This artistic skill is now channelled through her delicious food.

Whether you wish to relax on your holiday or have a non-stop fun filled time, William and Jubee look forward to welcoming you onboard Fuerte so that they can share the amazing environment that they love and are privileged to live and work in.

William and Jubee have now been aboard "Fuerte" for 5 1/2 years and have sailed her in excess of 50,000 miles throughout the Pacific, Caribbean and Mediterranean.

Guest Comments - William & Julia Samuelson

Fiona and Andrew Mason; I would like to express my appreciation for all your care and thoughtfullness. We have had many enjoyable family holidays but I think that all the children would agree that this was the best...... Thanks again. Best Vacation we’ve ever had! Jubee you work too hard.....

Sharon and Galen Sandwisch; 4 Heavenly days with 2 heavenly people.....My expectations were far exceeded..... Jubee, your culinary skills are amazing – your so talented, patient and hardworking. William, your “I can do anything” Captain attitude is well earned. I was so impressed with your ability to sail, engineer, repair, entertain and cook! Your always busy – work work work work work and then the two of you are able to do all that with a constant smile – wow!!

Josh and Kate Littlefield; William and Jubee went above and beyond to make us all feel at home and taken care of. Jubee’s cooking was outstanding!! These few days have opened a new world for our children. It was key that their first experience of this type be a good one. Please don’t hesitate to call us for more praise.....

John and Kim Marcantoni; We will never forget our first week as husband and wife. You two made it such a wonderful honeymoon for us. You both put so much thought and preperation into all that you do to please each guest and that is what makes the vacation truly pleasurable....

Ian and Elizabeth Jenks; Thankyou both so much for your part in providing us with a wonderful weeks cruising around in paradise. Well done Jubee for dealing with Iain’s insatiable desire for protein and for creating a delicious variety of dishes for us to enjoy..... Very well done for all your hard work, both of you.

Mary and Chris Behrens; Where do we begin? What a fantastic week of fun, sun and food!!! I don’t think we ever have eaten so well or so much. The boys loved the knee boarding, snorkelling, frisbeegames, water guns, tubing and of course their card games. Your hospitality was awesome and we will never forget our week on board.....
