GEORGIANA Crew Profile
Captain: William Seiden
Captain Bill was born and raised on Long Island New York and grew up taking advantage of all the nautical opportunities that his environment would allow, surfing and sailing since he was 14 years old. Bill had several short career teaching college, and working in the hospitality industry until he decided to return to the environment that he loved. After obtaining his 100 ton USCG Masters License he began his charter captain experience on a 50ft sailing trimaran cruising the Virgin Islands. After two years in the Caribbean he returned to the North East US and began working commercial vessels to improve his skills on larger and more diverse power vessels. Captain Bill returned to the Charter Yachting industry to run a 1935 Classic Trumpy. After two years on "Enticer" he took the captain position on Georgiana to fulfill his desire to run a larger modern yacht. Captain Bill currently maintains his USCG 200 ton Masters license and is fully licensed by the Marshall Islands to operate any vessel less than 500 tons. The combination of his hospitality experience and maritime skills helps to assure a memorable experience while cruising aboard "Georgiana".
Andrea Prusik - Chief Stewardess
Andrea was born and raised in the Mid-Western region of the United States where she spent countless summers on the waters of The Great Lakes. An avid swimmer and athlete, Andrea excelled in numerous competitive sports while growing up. She worked in the restaurant business for over 10 years at several diverse dining venues. After receiving her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, she worked in the Security Department at a Nuclear Power Station for 15 years. Wanting a career change, Andrea pursued a Masters Degree in Counseling and presently possesses an independent license as a Clinical Counselor in the State of Ohio. After 3 years of counseling and coaching a middle and high school diving team, an opportunity arose that she could not pass up. She was offered a position as Stewardess on an 85ft Trumpy M Y where she honed her skills in service, interior upkeep, table setting, flower arranging, and deckhand duties. She spent one year with M Y Enticer before she accepted a Chief Stewardess/Cook/Deckhand position on private M Y Georgiana where she has remained to present for over a year. After receiving her STCW 95 training and First Aid and CPR certification, she assisted the Captain in qualifying M Y Georgiana for charter certification through the Marshall Islands Registry and completed requirements for her Seafarers passbook. Andrea believes she has found her niche in the yachting industry and strives to ensure that her guests onboard Georgiana are just as happy.
