GETAWAY Crew Profile
CAPTAIN/ Levent Yenigul
Captain Levent was born and raised in the beautiful city of Izmir where he developed his passion for the sea. He has been working in the yachting industry since 1988 and has sailed and cruised extensively throughout the Mediterranean. Before he took the position as the captain of Getaway in 2013, he got involved in yacht building and started designing and constructing his own sailing yachts. He is a keen sailing racer, enjoys motor biking, paragliding and of course travelling.
CHEF/ Mehmet Ayhan
Mehmet is 35 years old and joined the crew onboard Getaway in 2012. He has been an executive chef in high-end hotels and restaurants and can customize a menu for any occasion or dietary preference. Mehmet won several chef competitions during his career and simply loves the challenge. His cooking and hospitality skills help create the best possible yacht charter experience. Mehmet’s interests include water sports, reading and meeting interesting people.
STEWARD/ Ali Artuc
Ali is from the coastal town of Marmaris and joined the crew on Getaway in the beginning of 2013. Having spent a couple of seasons on land where he was educated in tourism management, he decided to continue his passion for bartending and service on a charter yacht. He enjoys listening to rock music and travelling and is a charming and friendly person to work and travel with.
DECKHAND/ Selim Dincer
Originally from Istanbul/Uskudar, it was natural for Selim to be interested in yachting from a young age, so he moved to the coastal town of Marmaris where he finished Maritime School. Since then Selim has done extensive cruising in Turkish and Greek waters, has become an accomplished sailor and his skills at this field have earned him a place onboard Getaway in 2013.Selim enjoys all kind of sports including Football and Tae-Kwon-Do. He is a lovely, energetic person and is looking like being a great asset to the crew.
ENGINEER/ Erkan Turgut
Erkan is from the coastal town of Fethiye and came to work in the yachting industry in 2008. After having spent many years working as an electrician in hotels and resorts along the Turkish coast, Erkan worked on famous Turkish motor yachts before he joined his first sailing vessel Getaway in 2013. He is a calm and obliging person and is a true support for everyone onboard. In his free time he enjoys mountain trekking and being with his family and friends.

GETAWAY Accommodations
All cabins are en-suite, have 24 hour air-conditioning and heating which are individually controlled, full length mirrors, vanity tables with make-up mirror, reading lights, safes to lock away personal belongings, a full range of entertainment equipment such as DVD player, LCD screen HD televisions and connection to satellite TV and the onboard GPS. Every bathroom is equipped with a home style toilet and large showers with rain shower heads. Fwd of the galley is the VIP cabin which sleeps two in a queen size bed. The starboard side houses two cabins which can be converted from twins to a double set up forming king size beds. The master cabin is found furthest fwd and is abundantly spacious with large his and hers wardrobe, with ample space for hanging long summer dresses. Guests can sleep in comfort on the californian king sized bed and enjoy the fresh outdoor air via the many portholes located in this cabin making sure they don't lose contact with the beautiful turquoise waters.
