Captain Nikos is 44 years old, a Greek national. He holds a Captain’s A Class Diploma having graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Kymis, Greece. He also holds all Certificates according to IMO, such as Advanced Fire Fighting, Life Saving Appliances, Crisis Management, Medical Care on Board Ship, Passenger Safety, and a Speedboat License. He has 17 years’ experience on private and charter yachts i.e. Vega, Glauki, Lena, Caprice, Three K & Mialma. He is married with two children and he speaks English. During his free time he likes trekking and hiking. Captain Nikos’s extensive knowledge of Mediterranean sea is a valuable asset and ensures a successful charter.
Kostas is 27 years old, a Greek national. He has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy Aspropyrgos and he holds all the necessary certificates; Ship Security Officer, General Operator GMDFSS, Radar ARPA, Advance Fire Fighting, Proficiency in Medical First Aid & Medical Care on Board, Personnel Survival Techniques. Other skills/seminars: Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats, Advance Tanker Safety, RO-RO & Passenger Ship Safety, Crowd Management, Hazardous Materials, Bridge Team Management, ISM Training and Risk Assessment. He also holds a Speedboat and fishing license. He has worked on merchant vessels and he joined M/Y Glaros in 2013. He is very hard working and friendly person. He speaks English and he enjoys travelling and cars.
Nick is 37 years old, a Greek national. He holds an Engineer’s A Class diploma and all the necessary certificates; Life Saving, Firefighting, STCW, SSO etc. He has 13 years’ experience on oceangoing ships and 6 years on M/Y Glaros. Nick is the person whom the Captain and the crew completely trust and rely on for the smooth operation and repair of every part of the yacht. He is married with two children and he speaks English. He enjoys all watersports and football.
Chef George was born in 1980 in Athens, Greece. He has graduated from the“Palmier” Institute of Culinary Techniques and he has extended his studies atOTEK, Institute of Hotel & Tourism Studies. He has also attended the following seminars; “Culinary Basics & General Knowledge”, Soup & Sauce Cookery”, “Hot & Cold Cookery”, “Breakfast Cookery”, Vegetables Cookery”,“Marriot Hospitality Breakf and Service Training”, “Basic Principles in Food Hygiene and Safety of Products” and “Culinary and Purchasing”. He has worked in the most well known luxurious hotels and restaurants in Greece and the last 6 years at 5* “Ledra” Hotel in Athens. George is a very creative and competent Chef who can satisfy the most demanding clients. He is expert in Mediterranean and International cuisine. He speaks English. In his free time he enjoys cycling and football.
