Crew Profile

Captain: Jim Judy

Captain Jim Judy brings a lifetime of boating and yachting experience, from his roots growing up in the mid-west, boating on the Ohio River, to professionally captaining many yachts, of all shapes and sizes, up to 140 feet, over the years. He has a vast knowledge of not only South Florida waters and the nearby Bahamian waters, but also the inland Western River System and the Great Lakes, in the eastern US. He is happy to share with you, his love of boating. He also has extensive knowledge in boat building, and has managed several new construction and refit projects. Captain Jim currently holds a 200 Ton Master USCG license.

Mate/Engineer/Stew: Seth Jacobson

Seth, a lifelong boater, comes from a boating family and calls Chesapeake Beach, Maryland home. Growing up in the small Maryland coastal town, Seth developed a love for the water at a very young age. Since childhood he has worked in the family construction business and as a young adult, started working in the hospitality and service industry ranging from casual and fine dining to bartending. Seth moved to south Florida to pursue his yachting career ambitions and he is currently working towards his Captain’s license. He hopes to run his own yacht in the future. In Seth’s spare time he enjoys biking, exercising, martial arts, traveling, scuba diving, snorkeling, as well as spending time with family.

Mate/Stew: Austin Holden

A south Florida native, from Coral Springs, Florida, Austin grew up in a professional golfing family. As a child and young adult Austin was very active in the Golfing community. At age 13 he won a Junior Championship. After giving the golf lifestyle a break, he followed his second love of music, and became a piano technician for several years. Austin’s love for music is as deep as his golfing roots, but growing up in close proximity to Fort Lauderdale, the yachting capital of the World, Austin soon discovered he loved this lifestyle too and wanted to travel the oceans and be apart of it. With the grand piano aboard GOLDEN GIRL, Austin is at home and is often found entertaining the crew and guests. In his down time, besides brushing up on his piano and golf skills, he also enjoys the beach, snorkeling, swimming, yoga and visiting Colorado.

GOLDEN GIRL can accommodate 7 guests in 3 cabins. The Master cabin has a king size bed, bath/tub and toilet. A Guest cabin has a queen size bed, shower and toilet.
