CAPTAIN - ANTONIS DAGKLIS



Captain Antonis was born in 1976 in Piraeus, Greece and is married. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Hydra and speaks fluent English. Antonis has worked as officer on cargo tanker ships and cruise ships and has vast experience as captain on board luxury yachts such as: m/y “Sea U”, m/y “Aphrodite”, m/y “Venezuella”, m/y “Lady P” , m/y "Noni", and prior to joining m/y "Helios", Captain Antonios was head of the helm on board luxurious and well known yacht m/y "O'Pari" and m/y "Happy Dolphin II". He is a very devoted Captain who earns the respect and admiration instantly, both from his crew and his guests. During his free time he enjoys playing basketball and diving (he holds a first star diver certificate).



CHEF – IOANNIS MARKAKIS



Chef Ioannis was born March 3, 1979 in Athens, Greece, and is married. He speaks English and he is familiar with the French terminology. Ioannis attended and graduated from the School of Professional Tourism “Le Monde”, and holds a Degree of Professional Cuisine. He has also attended seminars concerning Restaurants & Bar Organizing, Composition Menus, and holds ECDL certificate. Ioannis has worked for the period of 2001 to 2004 as Comi-Chef at the “Gourmet” Restaurant in Holiday Inn Hotel, at St. George Lycabettus Hotel, and Sani Resort in Halkidiki. For the period of 2004 to 2006 he worked as Chef De Partie at Restaurants “Aristera-Dexia”, “Ntomata” at Sani Resort, “Apla”, “Nobu” in Myconos, and “St. Mortiz Badrutt’s Place Hotel” in Switzerland. Further on, Ioannis brought his expertise to the yachting industry, working as a Chef on board private motor yachts “Alexandra”, “Tyndareo” and “Alwaeli”. During his free time he enjoys reading, swimming, bowling, and soccer.





ENGINEER – NIKOLAOS NIKOLIDAKIS



Engineer Nikolaos was born April 4, 1980 in Athens, Greece. He is single and speaks conversational English and French. After completing high school, Nikolaos attended the “Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos” Athens, Greece, where he obtained his Engineer B’ Diploma and he also holds all necessary safety certificates. Nikolaos began his services at sea in 2000, where he served as Apprentice Engineer for merchant vessel m/t “Chrissi V”. In 2003 Nikolaos boarded m/t “Platinum” as 3rd Engineer, but he also served as 3rd Engineer m/t “Nikos IV” and M/T “Pearl”. In 2006 Nikolaos returned to M/T “Platinum”, but this time as 2nd Engineer, he also served as 2nd Engineer on board m/t “Criti Jade”. However, in 2009 Nikolaos brought his services and training to luxury motor yachts serving as 2nd Engineer on board m/y “Alfa”. Today Nikolaos is serving alongside with the immaculate crew of m/y “Helios”. During his free time he enjoys playing sports.





CHIEF STEWARD – SOTIRIS VOURLOS



Chief Steward Sotiris was born May 19, 1971, in Patra, Greece and is single. Sotiris graduated from the “Technical Educational Institute” of Athens with a diploma in Tourism Management of Business Administration and Economy and also speaks fluent English. Further to his diploma, Sotiris also holds all necessary certificates, including those for Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances from the “Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos”, Athens. Sotiris has vast working experience beginning in 1992 on board luxury motor vessels and on luxury motor yachts such as m/y“Alexandra”,m/y “Tyndareo”, m/y “Alexandra K” and the last year on board m/y ”Helios”. He has continuously been working on board ever since1992. His vast experience and character are the key assets to his success in making sure that everything his guests require are met with the highest standards. During his free time, Sotiris enjoys computers, cinema, travelling and fishing.



STEWARDESS – ADRIANNA AGGELOPOULOU



Stewardess Adrianna was born October 26, 1982 in Patra, Greece. She is single and speaks English. Adrianna graduated from a Technical High School where attended the Hair Dressing and Beauty Art department. She also holds Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances Certificate. For the period of 2004 to 2010 Adrianna worked as sales representative in shops. Further on, she worked as stewardess on board motor yachts “Astrea”, “Amon” and “Northwind”. She is non smoker and during her free time she enjoys traveling, reading books, sports and music.





SAILOR – VASILIS PSARROS



Sailor Vasilis was born December 10, 1976, in Athens, Greece. He is single and speaks conversational English. He holds all necessary Safety Certificates including Life Saving, Fire-Fighting and Fire-Fighting Appliances and Sailor Certificate. He has been serving at sea since 1994 on board merchant ships and on board luxury motor yachts since 2005 on: m/y ”Lady Saria”, m/y “El Chris”, m/y “Toy A”, and today he has brought his services to luxurious motor yacht, “Helios”. During his free time, Vasilis enjoys spending time with friends and bicycling.

HELIOS Accommodations

HELIOS can accommodate 12 guests in 5 cabins. The Master cabin has a double bed, shower and toilet. 2 VIP cabins have a double bed, shower and toilet. 2 Guest cabins have 2 single beds, a pullman, shower and toilet. HELIOS is fully air conditioned through out. Crew has a separate heads and shower.
