Captain Alwyn Coetzee
Welcome aboard IN THE WIND, lead by Captain Alwyn Coetzee. Sailing has always been an influential part of Alwyn?s life. Born and raised in South Africa, Alwyn has spent the last several years gaining experience off the shores of his homeland. He has accomplished both his RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and his Sailing Yachtmaster. Alwyn is not only a qualified Captain, but has acquired valuable experience as well. Within 6 years he traveled over 40,000 nautical miles on a variety of sail and motor yacht vessels.
The yachting industry is more than a job to Alwyn, it is his passion in life. He is a highly motivated individual with a sense of determination that will exceed your charter expectations. You will be drawn to his energetic presence and impressed with his navigational expertise.
Hostess/Chef Sarah Ciaparelli
Greeted with a warm smile, Hostess/Chef Sarah Ciaparelli?s hospitable personality will guarantee a pleasant stay onboard IN THE WIND. Sarah was born and raised in South Africa. She grew up involved in her family?s hospitality business, learning from an early age valuable communication skills. To further excel in her customer relation capabilities, Sarah accomplished her B.S Degree in Public Relations.
Sarah?s previous employment in event planning along with her experience in the restaurant industry has allowed an easy transition of her many talents to the Yachting Industry. Sarah?s cooking creativity and ever evolving menus are inspired by her family?s restaurant in South Africa. She prides herself on guest satisfaction, and will go the extra mile to perfect your charter needs.
