CAPTAIN of M/Y Jack Blu, Erhan Dogru, Turkish, Aged 35
Captain Erhan’s life at sea began when he joined the Turkish Navy.
After finishing the Naval High School he got accepted to the Naval Academy. Upon graduation from the Academy he became a Naval officer and served on Naval Ships. He left the Navy when he decided to become a yacht captain .
The experience and dicipline at the Navy helped him a lot in his yachting career. Captain Erhan has been working for the owner of the yacht for over ten years. He captained an Azimut 46 for a year, then an Azimut 68 Plus for three years and this is his sixth year on board of M/Y Jack Blu.
He has cruised all over the Mediterranean and spend most of his time in central and east Med. He enjoys diving, spear fishing and water sports. He is fluent in English, speaks intermediate French and beginner Italian.
He holds the certificates of: Yacht Captain, Ocean Going Watchkeeping officer, STCW certificates, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
FIRSTMATE of M/Y Jack Blu , Erhan Durhan, Turkish, Aged 29
He began his career at sea working as deckhand on traditional Turkish wooden sailing yachts. After he had worked as a charter crew for six years, he joined M/Y Jack Blu as the 1st Mate in 2005. He has cruised to Tunisia, South of France, Italy, Croita and Greece on board of M/Y Jack Blu.
He likes to play beach volleyball and enjoys water sports. He speaks English. He holds STCW international safety traning certificates.
ENGINEER of M/Y Jack Blu , Suleyman Erden, Turkish, Aged 26
He joined M/Y Jack Blu crew in 2006. Suleyman is a young talented engineer willing to improve himself everyday. He worked on two different sailing yachts for three years and chartered in Turkish and Greek waters.
He cruised to Tunisia, South of France, Italy and Greece on board of M/Y Jack Blu.
He is taking lessons to better his English. . He holds STCW international safety traning certificates.
CHEF of M/Y Jack Blu , Hulya Denizkusu, Turkish, Aged 33
She studied Nutrition and Menu Planning Principles when she was in high school. After working in a restaurant for two years her love for the sea drew her to working on yachts. She worked six years on a traditional Turkish wooden charter yacht. Early 2009 she joined the M/Y Jack Blu. She has cooked and served to so many people from different cultures to keep them happy and healthy on board during her seven year yachting career. Her favourite cuisine is Turkish and Mediterranean cuisines. . She holds STCW international safety traning certificates.
