M/Y “KELLY SEA” Crew Profiles
Captain Bryce Simpson
Raised in Vermont, he got into the yachting industry by accident. Fresh out of college with an accounting degree, Bryce moved to South Florida to pursue warmth and an accounting job in 1992.
His uncle was and still is in the industry and is responsible for getting him into the business. He started out as a deckhand on larger yachts, progressing up the chain of command and has been a captain for 10 years, holding a 200 ton (U.S.), 500 ton (ITC) license. He’s developed a passion for the ocean yet takes his job very seriously as he’s found out sometimes the ocean can be your best or worst friend. He’s travelled extensively throughout the Bahamas, New England, Europe and the Caribbean.
He is an avid sports fan, loves to play golf, water sports, scuba diving and skiing (as long as there is a warm fire afterwards).
Chef Lindsay Smith grew up in the Boston area working in fine dining restaurants and spent her summers in Newport, RI where she discovered the world of yachting. Her passion for excellent food, service and her love for traveling lead her to the M/Y Kelly Sea. In her free time she enjoys snorkeling, fishing, and when home playing in the snow! She looks forward to making your charter on the M/Y Kelly Sea a memorable one.
First Mate Nick Eubank grew up in Virginia where he spent most of his spare time working with his father on various boats on the Chesapeake Bay. He graduated from Radford University and while there he spent his summers working on boats and water sports operations on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which eventually lead him to the M/Y Kelly Sea. In his free time he enjoys surfing, playing guitar, and being on the water. He looks forward to serving you in any way he can while you are onboard.
