CAPTAIN - DIMITRIS-STAVROS KOUROUMALOS



Captain Dimitris was born May 21, 1980 in Piraeus, Greece. He is of Greek nationality, he speaks very good English, has speedboat’s license, and holds E.C.D.L. certificate. He graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Chania and holds Captain Class A’, Captain Class B’ and Captain Class C’ Certificates. Dimitris has attended the Meteorology Seminar of Greek Season at City College, and he also holds Certificates and Diplomas for: Open Water Diver License, Medical Care on board ship, Training Certification and Watch Keeping for Seafarers, RO/RO passenger ships, Ship Security Officer, Automatic Rader Plotting Aids, Live Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances. Prior to joining m/y “Kintaro”, Dimitris began his services at sea as Apprentice Officer on m/v “Eastwind” and f/b “Aptera-Lato”. Further on, he served as Captain C’ on board m/v “Maria I.A.”. After he fulfilled his Military obligations as a captain in tugboat, he served as captain on private motor yachts “Satori” and “Best NG”. Dimitris supervised the construction of the m/y “Best NG” at the Italian shipyard Rizzardi, and was responsible for the sea trials, and he participated with the yacht at Yacht Shows. Dimitris is involved with the construction of a computer model for use in real navigation aids direct visualization satellites of meteorology. He has a very friendly character, he loves children and he is non smoker. During his free time he enjoys traveling and diving.



ENGINEER – SPIRIDON PERGADAS



Engineer Spiridon was born in 1962 in Athens, Greece and is married. He is a graduate from the “Merchant Marine Academy” in Aspropyrgos, Athens, holding Engineer’s Diploma. His English is fluent and he holds a Diploma certifying him a Computer Operator from the “Alfa Institute”. Certificates from various required seminars concerning operation and safety at sea, are also in possession. Before joining m/y “Kintaro”, Spiridon has worked on m/v and m/s vessel’s, “Norweigina”, “Marco Polo”, “European Stars”, “Mistral” and “Viking Serrenade”.



CHEF – VASSILIOS KALLIMOUKOS



Chef Vassilios was born July 16, 1981 in Athens, Greece. He is single and speaks English. He is a graduate and degree holder from the “Culinary Le Monde” and from the “Communication and Media Department of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens”. .Vassilios also holds RO/RO Passenger Certificate and all necessary Safety Certificates. In 2005 Vassilios placed second in the 3rd Greek Gastronomy Festival, in 2008 and 2009 he placed 2nd in the 7th and 8th International Symposium Boat Show of Poros. Chef Vassilios’ experience consists of luxury Hotels and restaurants in Greece and the Canary Islands. However from 2008 he has been serving his specialties to all guest on board luxury yachts such as m/y “El Chris” and m/y “Obsesion”. During his free time he enjoys playing chess, sports and reading.



CHIEF STEWARD – DIMITRIOS TRIANTAFILIDIS



Chief Steward Dimitrios was born in 1969, in Piraeus, Greece and is married. He holds a Chief Steward’s Diploma. He speaks fluent English and moderate Spanish. Dimitrios worked as Head Dining Room Waiter on m/v “Aegean 1”, and as Chief Steward on board m/y “Aegean Princess”, m/y “Alexandra K”, m/y “Kiberlit II”, and m/y “Amphitrite”. His hobbies are basketball and computers.



ASSISTANT STEWARDESS – MARIA SAKELARIOU



Assistant Stewardess Maria, was born in 1976 in Piraeus, Greece and is single. Maria holds steward diploma from the “National School Academy” and speaks fluent English and French. She has RO-RO Certificate, whilst she attended 100 hours seminar at the “Hotel Intercontinental” for proper service and appearance to clients/customer, and 30 hours seminar at the “Hotel Hilton” for steward training. Maria worked as Assistant Stewardess on board several luxury yachts, such as m/y “Kiwi”, m/y “Perseus”, m/y “Pegasus”, s/y “Callisto”, s/y “Amadeus:”, m/y “M.S.”, and m/y “Galatea”, including relevant position in some of Athens finest Hotels.



BOSUN – EMMANOUIL TZENIS



Bosun Emmanouil was born July 11, 1968 on another one of Greece’s islands, Evoia. Emmanouil is single and speaks English. After graduating from high school, Emmanouil proceeded to attend and graduate from the “Permanent Apprentice Officers School” (SMYN). Emmanouil always had love for the sea and could not picture himself, doing something that did not involve it. In 2001 Emmanouil pursued his wish and began serving on board luxury yachts always giving his best. :Prior joining m/y “Kintaro” Emmanouil served on board m/y “O’Mega”, m/y “O’Pari”, m/y “O’Rion”, m/y “O’Asis”, m/y “Rapsody”, m/y “Sea Crown”, m/y “La Vie”, m/y “Zenia”, m/s “Galileo” and m/s “Alkyon”. During his free time he enjoys swimming.



SAILOR – DIMITRIOS TSALATSANIS



Sailor Dimitrios was born December 8, 1969 in Athens, Greece. He is married and speaks conversational English. After graduating from the Technical School of Drapetsona in 1994, he immediately began working in the ship yards of Perama Attikis and Souda, Crete, until 2002. Further on, he brought his services on board luxury motor yachts and has been working continuously until now. Today you will find Dimitris on board m/y “Kintaro” working alongside his crew mates and making sure that you have an unforgettable time. During his free time he enjoys playing soccer and sports in general.
