ON DECK MASTER STATEROOM: Forward. Upon entering, there is an office to starboard and a small drinks refrigerator. The master stateroom is full beam with walk-around king size bed, sofa, and vanity. There are two separate entrances to the en-suite his-and-hers bathroom with twin sinks. His with stall shower, hers with Jacuzzi tub. Private head. Entertainment system featuring 27” flat screen TV/DVD/CD with individual satellite receiver, and iPod docking station. Large windows create abundant natural light in the Master Stateroom if desired. Complete blackout option is also available.

LADY J Crew Profile
Captain – Greg Russell
Greg is originally from Zimbabwe and after leaving school, studied Marine Biology in Cape Town, South Africa. After returning to Zimbabwe, Greg pursued life as a tobacco farmer, where he gained many of the skills necessary today in running and managing a large team. Political issues forced Greg to leave Zimbabwe, he traveled the globe before stumbling on a life-changing trip across the Atlantic in 1989 and has never looked back! His education includes a BSC in Marine Biology, and a Degree in Agriculture from Blackfordby College. Along with his 500T MCA license, Greg’s experience, confidence and exudes onboard and he looks forward to meeting and exceeding his clients expectations. He has logged more than 160,000 nautical miles with eight Trans - Atlantic crossings to his merit and is very familiar with all waters between Maine and Grenada and beyond.
His most memorable trip was taking an expedition trawler to St. Petersburg, Russia having navigated through the Kiel Canal, Baltic and North Sea. After spending the last 5 years Captaining the highly successful 125’ charter yacht MY Namoh, Greg is bringing with him his vast knowledge and enthusiasm for chartering and hopes to continue his high level of service and customer satisfaction for his guests . Greg’s high energy and love for the outdoors guarantees an unforgettable experience. An avid fan of golf, cricket and rugby, and in general anything outdoors, Greg is ready to welcome you on Lady J!
Chief Engineer – David Lenit
David grew up in the North shore suburbs of Chicago sailing on the Great Lakes and lived most of his life in South Florida. A recovering auto mechanic intimately familiar with the boating lifestyle, he loves his boats and their machinery. He took a break from the car business to crew some offshore sailboat races and deliveries that put him on a path to becoming a yacht engineer and never looked back. Since then he has traveled extensively through the Bahamas and Caribbean, raced to Cuba, Jamaica and Bermuda, and crossed the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea. David enjoys fishing, sailing, cooking and riding bicycles. Interesting fact about David: He was ground crew for the first blimp in Thailand.
First Officer – Jose Lahongrais
Jose is originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico. He joined the US Coast Guard at the age of 19, where he served as Boatswain's mate and Quartermaster. In 2001, Jose decided that a career in yachting would satisfy his wanderlust while also utilizing his navigation experience.
Since then, Jose has completed several safety and navigation courses and is working on upgrading his captain's license. Some of his hobbies include snowboarding, going to the beach, and working on his saltwater aquarium. Always with a smiling face, Jose will make sure that your vacation is a memorable one.
Chef – Luisa Harker
Luisa Harker Leiva was born in Bogota, Colombia. At 19 , left to Palma de Mallorca, Spain to study Tourism and Hotel management and culinary school. For 5 years,I had the chance to travel to Europe while I was a student, what a great experience to educate my "palee". When I ended my studies, was time to leave this unique and beautiful island and with my future husband, a native from Belgium and we decided to come to America as an Immigrants to Virginia beach, a 3 hour drive south from Washington D.C. I paid my dues to this country by working hard. learning English and overcoming the cultural shock in all the senses....it was quite though for the first 4 years! We became an American citizens and owners of high end French restaurants; must mentioned, within the 3 best ones in the state of Va. I kept traveling around the world every time I had the chance to learn about the hospitality industry. After 18 years, it was time for me, for a change in my life and decided to moved to Miami. I have been here 7 years , single and living on my own at the Brickell area. For the past 5 years, I have been a private chef In Miami Beach and some yachts, being creative in flavors, textures, colors etc,always with the intention to please and nurture people from around the world with my tasty creations. I keep myself fit by fast walking, swimming gym and of course , eating healthy too.
Chief Stewardess – Marién Sarriera
Marién is from the “Enchanted Island of Puerto Rico”. She studied graphic design and upon graduation, set out to explore the world through travel and working on yachts. She has been in the industry over six years not only as interior team but also as a deckhand and cook. When she has time on her hands she enjoys painting and all types of water sports. It’s always her pleasure to make people happy & comfortable. With her experience and enthusiasm, Marién goes the extra mile to ensure that guests have a wonderful time on board M//Y Lady J, leaving with the best of memories.
Bosun – Jasmine Farr
Jasmine was born in Mallorca, Spain, where she spent her first 3 years, although grew up in the coastal town of Marmaris, Turkey. Living on the beach and being the daughter of a Captain, Jasmine felt the allure of the sea from a young age. Through secondary school Jasmine spent her summers working in 5 star hotels’ water sports centers where she worked on jet skies, instructed wake-boarding and took guests on boat tours of the coastline.
She studied Tourism and Hotel Management for two years in University and in her last year she had an opportunity to work on a yacht which began her new career. Jasmine has six years experience in yachting in which time she has obtained her Yacht Master and Rescue Diving. She is working towards a future as a yacht captain.
Second Stewardess – Jennifer Stafinbil
Jen was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in both San Diego, California and Spokane, Washington. When asked she calls San Diego home as this is where her heart has always been. Jen has an immense love for traveling and for the ocean that fuels her life choices in both career and hobbies. While working as a PADI Dive Master in Honduras she finally heard about her perfect career, one where she could travel and earn a living doing so. She joined the yachting industry in 2009 from Ft Lauderdale, Florida and has never looked back. She is happy to be able to bring her massage therapy skills to her profession in yachting, combining all of her loves. She has spent the majority of her career on the east coast of the States and has cruised the Bahamas extensively, spent time in Mexico and then the South Pacific. In her spare time you will most likely find her, camera in hand and somewhere near the water either relaxing at the beach, diving, surfing, wake boarding, fishing or anything else she can find to do that involves the ocean. She is happy to be part of this team here on Lady J and looks forward to making your experience on board unforgettable.
