CAPTAIN: Christopher M. Callahan, British/USA, Age: 36, UK Class 4 Master Yachts, has been a Captain and First mate for 14 years. He was previously on the 48m Andromeda la Dea, 50m …Is a Rose and 48m Morning Glory, all Perini Navi’s. Chris has spent two busy charter seasons on …Is a Rose and Andromeda la Dea. He is very experienced in the Caribbean, Croatian and Greek waters. Before yachting Chris was a navigator on a P-3 Orion anti submarine hunter based in the north Atlantic with the U.S. Navy. He makes his home in the Shropshire countryside in England with his British wife and two daughters.

CHIEF OFFICER: Ryan Green, British, Age: 28, Ocean Yacht Master, UK Officer of the Watch, has many years experience on several Perini Navi’s including Andromeda la Dea. He is a competent mate and watch keeper, and is currently studying for his master license. Ryan is a dive master and is active with all the water sports onboard. His past career was a camp manager at the Mala Mala game reserve in South Africa. His hobbies include diving, mountain biking and sailing.

CHIEF ENGINEER: Lars Starner, Swedish, Age: 41, MCA class 4 engineers’ license as well as Swedish merchant navy engineer’s license. BA, Mechanical Engineering, Fully licensed PADI SCUBA Diving Instructor. Lars started to race sailboats at age 12 and later became a sail instructor. After 5 years in the Royal Swedish Navy as Submarine Engineer Officer he started a career in Yachting and has worked as Chief Engineer on yachts such as M/Y Blue Crystal 42m, S/Y Zeus 48m sloop and as first Engineer on M/Y Corinthian VI, 72 Lurssen. He has cruised the Baltic Sea, Indian Ocean, Red Sea, South Tasmanian Sea, Philippine Ocean, the Suez, Mediterranean, Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean. Lars enjoys downhill skiing and parachuting.

CHEF: Graeme Holst, New Zealand, Age: 30, STCW 95, has been cooking for the past 13 years. With 4 years sailing and charter experience he has worked on M/Y Princess Marla, S/Y Symphonia, and S/Y Vainqueur. He was professionally trained in classical cooking at the Auckland Chef training school. Since then Graeme has worked in some of Auckland’s top restaurants under New Zealand’s best chefs. Coming from New Zealand Graeme’s main forté is in Pacific Rim and infusion styles. His hobbies include pole skiing, snowboarding, and diving.

CHIEF STEWARDESS: Baseera Scar, British, Age: 25, STCW 95, has been working this past year as the chief stewardess and crew chef onboard the classic Mariette. Last year she worked on board …Is a Rose and completed a busy charter season with Chris. Baseera is very experienced and has an outgoing personality. She is silver service trained and looks forward to indulging the guests. Baseera’s hobbies include photography, cooking and reading.

SECOND STEWARDESS: Katana Vick, Auustralia, Age: 29, STCW 95, joined the super yacht business two years ago on Morning Glory the 48m Perini Navi. Her background is in the travel and tourism industry and she is also trained to teach English as a second language. In Sydney she was an active sailor both recreationally and competitively. In 2002 her team competed and won the J24 national championships. Her other interests include diving, reading, travel and art appreciation.
