CAPTAIN: Michael W. Crosby - American
|
MIchael was born into a Massachusetts commercial swordfishing family. He started working on fishing boats at the age of 12 harpooning on the Georges Banks off New England and long-lining on the Grand Banks off Newfoundland. After college he joined the US Coast Guard and went to Boatswains Mate Class ‘A’ School. Michael was a coxswain and a rescue swimmer at Search & Rescue Stations. Michael became a yacht captain in 1990 and since has cruised extensively throughout New England, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, and S.E. Asia. He holds a USCG 3000 ton Ocean Master's License and various certifications including Advanced First Aid, Advanced Ship-board Firefighting, Celestial Navigation, Advanced Radar Observer with ARPA, Global Marine Distress and Safety Systems. It's always "safety first" on LE REVE.

CHEF: Daniela Sanchez - Columbian
|
Daniela was born and raised in Colombia, and always had a passion and curiosity about food and travel. She traveled to Europe in 2005 and completed a culinary degree in France at the "Restaurant and Hospitality College" in Toulouse. This lead to employments in several world class hotels and resturants on the Mediterranean coast. Daniela is proficient in a wide variety of menus including Mediterranean, French, Asian, Latin and healthy cuisine. In her spare time she enjoys travelling and the opportunity to soak up each ports delights and delicacies. Chef Dani is always eager to meet guests and provide them with all they desire to make their stay onboard very enjoyable.
STEWARDESS: Elizabeth McCann

Born in Germany, Elizabeth moved to the United States as a young girl where she spent her years growing up in Virginia and Florida. Previous to Le Reve she worked in various land-based hospitality and service roles developing a passion for helping others. In 2009, craving a change of scenery, she moved abroad to study for her master’s degree while living in Malta. It was there that she was first introduced to the yachting industry and where she realized that it offered exactly what she was looking for, travel, enriching cultural experiences and the opportunity to provide a high level of service. Elizabeth is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys water sports, hiking, camping and snowboarding. Elizabeth has a service-oriented nature and will go above and beyond to enhance your stay aboard Le Reve.

MATE: Neal Bateman

Neal developed a love for the water at a very young age; his family first owned a speed boat which was used primarily for skiing and fishing. He gained his first experience of sailing in open seas at the age of 8 and has had a passion for boats ever since. After completing his degree Neal decided to pursue a career in the yachting industry. This has taken him to some of the most amazing places on earth, introduced him to a variety of cultures and provided him with valuable industry experience. Neal has his 200ton Yacht Master license and is looking forward to furthering his maritime qualifications. During his time off Neal loves to dive and relax on the beach, His positive "can do" attitude combined with his experience on the ocean and easy going personality will make your stay aboard Le Reve everything you want it to be-and more!
