MARCH 21-27-14

The trip was absolutely amazing!  The boat, crew, weather, food, service, variety of activities, planning and diving were awesome and we never wanted for anything.
The boat was well maintained, immaculate and exceeded expectations. A truly elegant and well maintained lady.  My wife slept better during the trip than she has in at least a year.
Ernie, Meghan and Jeff treated us with great care, attention and a high level of personal service.  They Had the perfect balance of being engaged with us and leaving us alone too.
They offered so many options of things to do each day which made each day special and we felt like each day was a "mini vacation".
We enjoy diving as a family and Lolalita took us to at least two different dive sites each day and the diving was spectacular.  They helped with all the gear, dive site briefing and ran a very safe dive operation.
We hiked, toured, dove, combed beaches, toured in the tender, swam, paddle boarded, kayaked, sailed, played games at night (laughed our butts off) and had some truly memorable meals and even got liquored up on a few nights!
This trip was spectacular, was the best we have ever experienced, and we have done some wonderful trips. We renewed our wedding vows as the sun set on the last night and Ernie did a great job of officiating the ceremony.  This was a great way to end the trip.
Meghan's meals and attention to detail was great. Each meal was special, done first class and their service was top notch. She decorated the table with each meal which was a nice touch.
Jeff guided our island hikes and tours and was really funny. He was a great help in all areas.
When the trip was over, we felt like Ernie, Meghan and Jeff were family.
Do you get the feeling we had fun?

We hope your charter lived up to your expectations. We would love to know some of your impressions about your yachting vacation. Please answer the following questions and add any comments you may have.

1. Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
The entire crew was absolutely delightful to be with.

2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
The catamaran was beautiful. All of the sleeping quarters were comfortable and the living and relaxing space was perfect. The daily room tidy was a great bonus as well. The bean bags at the front of the catamaran are a great addition. We all enjoyed sailing and relaxing on them.

3. Was the yacht well ventilated?
The catamaran was well ventilated and comfortably air condintioned.

4. Was the food good and well presented?
The food was amazing! Chef Megan created palate pleasing surprises for every meal. She even tempted some people to eat food that they wouldn't eat before. Her presentation was outstanding as well.

5. Did you like the area you sailed?
Captain Ernie did a great job creating an itinerary with eight people that were not quick to make a decision. He incorporated fun stops and beautiful scenic locations. Furthermore, he was very accommodating when we had last minute requests for stops. Once we all learned that we enjoyed sailing he added sailing time as well.

6. Could we have helped you further in any way?
The pre-departure information was very helpful. I don't know of any additional information that you could have provided.

7. May we post this review on our website?

8. Additional comments on your charter?
I would highly recommend Lolalita. Our charter was a journey that we all will not forget. It will be difficult to have such a unique and special vacation experience again. (except when we return) The catamaran, the food and the people are wonderful. The crew was so receptive to our needs. They assisted with island exploration, snorkeling and scuba diving. They made scuba possible for one intermediate diver and two beginners. Their training, support and compassion made it possible. Their two kayaks and paddle board were fun additions at the beautiful, tranquil aqua waters and white sand coves. We can't wait to return.

From the Christmas week 2013 guests aboard the Privlege 65 cat LOLALITA with Ernie, Megan and Jeff:
"Lolalita should be on the very top of your list for charters! To begin: Ernie, Megan and Jeff could not have been more gracious, helpful, imaginative and pleasant to be around. As you know we chartered with our three children ages; 25, 24 and 20. All of which have since commented on how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed being around the crew. Ernie's personality and sense of humor were pleasant and engaging to be around the entire trip. Megan was spectacular with all meals, each was a mini celebration! Megan's gentle personality mixed with broad understanding of the waters made for a wonderful combination. We requested healthy meals during our stay, she managed to not only make them healthy, but excited the gourmands in our family. Jeff's contributions were thoroughly enjoyed by my children and also by Linda and I. His attentiveness, knowledge and assistance during our many snorkeling adventures, as well as transportations for nightlife made the trip exciting.
The sailing was done in an expert manner, even given the myriad of questions we were asking while underway. The Lolalita herself is expertly maintained, warm and very comfortable. She is easy to get around on and smooth under sail.

Thank you so much for steering me toward Lolalita! We would highly recommend them with out any reservations."

The trip was amazing! Lolalita is a really beautiful boat that is kept in pristine condition by Ernie, Megan and Jeff. We had a group of six and I think that was the perfect size for this boat. There was plenty of room to spread out.  Ernie, Megan and Jeff were an awesome crew! Ernie had the perfect balance between being a tour guide with suggestions for daily activities and also just sitting back and letting us do our own thing. Megan is an excellent cook and did an amazing job keeping the boat looking like a 5-star hotel. She also is a really great person to hang out with and I had a lot of fun getting to know her. Jeff is just an all-around great guy. He was a patient and professional SCUBA instructor, a laid-back and fun friend on the boat and always hard at work with a smile and warm demeanor. I think the combination of this boat and crew is really special and would be great for a wide variety of groups from families with young children to people looking to party and older adults looking for relaxing vacation. I hope to spend time on the Lolalita again soon.

Marshall and I had a great time! I have only great things to say about Megan, Ernie, and Jeff.  Megan is an amazing chef and photographer. I enjoyed getting to know Megan, she is a sweet lady. Ernie- Funny! We had fun with Ernie.  Jeff- He was like the groups little brother. We had fun with Jeff. He has a great personality. He is a really great dive instructor and guide.
We decided to get married on the trip 4 days before we left for the trip. I bought a dress 5 hours before our flight. Ernie woke up early on Thursday of the trip and made a heart out of rocks in the sand, he gathered a palm and sea grape leaves to make my bouquet. Megan helped the girls and I get ready; she provided my something borrowed bracelet. She made the perfect wedding dessert! Jeff drove the wedding dinghy to Sandy Spit. Megan and Ernie took some beautiful pictures which I already have hanging in my home.
Overall, amazing trip with amazing people! I would love to go again some day.

We hope your charter lived up to your expectations. We would love to know some of your impressions about your yachting vacation. Please answer the following questions and add any comments you may have.

1. Was the crew friendly and accommodating?
We had the time of our lives. We felt very safe and confident with Captain Ernie - he always put our needs and requests front and foremost. Megan was wonderful, and Jeff was an asset in that we hd 2 guests that needed extra assistance.

2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean?
The crew took such care of the boat and us. Our linens were changed, towels always clean and dry and everything was spic and span

3. Was the yacht well ventilated?
We had very good air conditioning - not too cold. We spent as much time outside as possible. The rainy dy we had, we were all very comfortable and it was not stuffy at all.

4. Was the food good and well presented?
Megan really paid attention to our requests for healthy and delicious food. Her menus were well thought out and took extra care if ther was an allergy issue. Her presentation wa outstanding!

5. Did you like the area you sailed?
Beautiful! Captain Ernie made sure we saw all he highlights and we made a few of our own.

8. Additional comments on your charter?
I was very happy that we had 3 crew aboard the boat the size of Lolalita. Ernie, Megan and Jeff all contributed to ensure that we had a fun, memorable and safe trip. We were very grateful that Jeff was aboard as we had a couple of people who had physical limitations. Jeff made sure they were able to participate in snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. He accompanied people to the front and back of the boat, all with a smile and a genuine caring. You can tell that Megan loves food - we had great chats about her menus and how she prepared various dishes. Catching fish for dinner one night was amazing. Megan's presentation was almost an art form. The other nice touches with the themed table settings, accompanying cocktails and the cocktail snacks were on par with some of he best places I have dined in the world. Ernie knows his stuff! We felt great in his care. He knew his way around the BVIs and took us to places we didn't even know existed. In choppy seas he managed to continue a smooth sail. We recommend him to anyone.

~ Did you find your Crew Attentive to your needs?
Without a doubt all three of them bent over backwards to keep the two of us and our four legged family member happy!

~ How were your meals – were they well thought out?
Megan is a wiz, especially having to cook out of a galley kitchen.
We requested healthy low fat, low carb meals, lots of fruit and salads.
Her dressings were amazing and her cookies and crème Brule were to die for! Of course we couldn’t always eat healthy!

~ Did they meet or exceed your expectations?

~ What took you by surprise?
The portions, they were immense, but we also are hungry divers and asked for big portions.

~ Were the meals presented tastefully?
Every plate was beautifully presented! I have owned restaurants and have culinary training, and I took pictures of some plates!

~ The bar beverages – was the yacht provisioned the way you requested?
Yes! Everything we requested that they could get on the Island was on board. Not to mention Ernie’s famous banana daiquiris!

~ Did you feel free to help yourself?
Yes, but we never needed to, because they were always there to serve us first.
~ Any surprise specialty drinks served?
See previous question.
~ How did you find the comfort of the yacht?
What a beautiful yacht! Everything you could want in a private charter. Especially the Hot water, Air-conditioning and separate shower and bathroom.

~ Cleanliness and Care factor
Boat was in great condition throughout the trip.

~ Overall condition of the living areas
So Comfortable!

~ Your Itinerary –did you feel you participated together with your crew?
Of course weather and wind are the driving factors, but Ernie explained from the beginning what our options were and we were in agreement.

~ What stands out in your memory of your week’s journey?
How beautiful the scenery was, how peaceful it is on the water, how sweet and accommodating Megan, Ernie and Jeff were!
