Pronounced “Bootsie” you won’t forget Captain Mike! He is originally from Vermont and worked as a teacher for ten years while raising two boys of his own.  One summer he went to work on the ferry boats running between Nantucket and Hyannis and became familiar with yachting during that winter in South Florida.  At the end of that season he moved to sunny, Stuart Florida, made yachting his new career, and lucky us, he is happy to be cruising on Lucky Me.  

Mike has run yachts such as the Waterford, Lady Breanna and other private as well as charter yachts during his many years in the industry.  He has done several charters and is very familiar with cruising in South Florida, the Bahamas and New England. He is easy to be around, super friendly and very professional.  He will devise an itinerary to please any client and looks forward to having guests on board Lucky Me for a wonderful yachting holiday.

Chef Martha Clemons

Martha is also originally from Vermont and Mike and Martha have been friends for many years.  They work well as a team and have a friendly, positive attitude on board which is contagious to anyone!

Martha’s love is that of traveling.  After finishing school she set out to travel the world and lived in places such as Australia, Fiji, and LA.  In combining this love of travel and a job, Martha was introduced to yachting by some friends in the business and now anyone who joins her on board Lucky Me is to benefit!  While Martha did not attend culinary school, she has worked in many restaurants along the way and many have described her as “a natural”.  Her food is excellent, her passion and natural talent can be tasted in every bite.  Martha has worked aboard yachts such as White Star, Kisses, and Silver Seas. She is very flexible with menus, has a wonderful temperament and personality and is the perfect chef and hostess on board Lucky Me.
