Bill is originally from western New York where he grew up driving boats on one of New York’s beautiful freshwater lakes.  After high school Bill joined the Army and became a Watercraft Operator of tugs.  After four years in the service Bill left the military and began his career aboard private yachts and has since traveled more than 40,000 nautical miles at sea.  He has crossed through the Panama Canal three times and has done countless trips up and down the eastern seaboard.  Bill has also cruised from Panama to Alaska, Michigan to Guadalupe, and many trips through the Bahamas.


Bill lives in Ft Lauderdale with his wife and two children.

CHEF:  John Chamberlain


DATE OF BIRTH:  12/22/79


NATIONALITY: American


QUALIFICATIONS:  Culinary Institute of America


John is originally from Springfield, MA and he earned his Associate Degree from “The Culinary Institute of America” in Hyde Park, NY.  After receiving his degree John worked as a Sous Chef at a golf resort and spa in CA and then moved to Incline Village, NV where he worked as the General Manager and Executive Chef of Paradise Grill.  After working there for a year he went on to win the “2005 Best of Show” award at the 19th Annual Chocolate Festival in Incline Village, NV while working as the Sous Chef and Pastry Chef for Big Water Grille.  While working in Boston, MA John was hired to cook for a dinner party of a yacht owner’s daughter.  The yacht owner was so impressed that he offered John a job as the full time chef aboard his yacht and two weeks later he entered the yachting world.


John has cruised the Bahamas, Florida and the Northeast of the U.S., with Maine being his favorite spot because of being able to get fresh, just caught, fish and lobster.


John enjoys golfing, biking and skiing.

STEW:  Andrea Ybarra


DATE OF BIRTH:  7/13/85


NATIONALITY: American


QUALIFICATIONS:  Maritime Professional Training STCW 95


Andrea is originally from Shreveport, LA and learned about the yachting industry from a friend.  Excited about this new found career and having a passion for traveling, she moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL and began her path to a career aboard yachts.  Andrea’s passion for the water and her high level of energy has given her the opportunity to see some of the world’s best cruising locations such as the U.S. Eastern Seaboard, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean as well as a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, which was her favorite passage. 


Andrea is a social butterfly that enjoys meeting new people, wakeboarding, waterskiing, bike riding and traveling.

MATE:  Nicholas Jay Ocobock


DATE OF BIRTH:  7/03/82


NATIONALITY:  American


QUALIFICATIONS:  Riddle Aeronautical University (Aircraft Pilot), 6-Pack 100 Ton, Maritime Professional Training STCW 95, Hazmat Certified


Nicholas is originally from Pensacola, FL and attended “Embry Riddle Aeronautical University” where he studied Aeronautics and became an airplane pilot.  After the discovery of yachting Nicholas decided to leave the aviation world and enter into the yachting world.  Working on yachts has allowed him to utilize his technical skills in engines, computers, and physics he learned from his aviation schooling. 


Nicholas has cruised all of Florida, with Florida Bay being his favorite cruising grounds, and has also cruised the Bahamas.


Nicholas is an avid fisherman and enjoys all water sports and activities.
