Peter has followed varied and exciting professions ranging from salvage diving on the African Coast to cattle and game farming in Zimbabwe. For the past 4 years he has been involved with the BVI Charter industry where he has earned the reputation of being a very popular and friendly Charter Captain. He has extensive sailing experience together with 6 Ocean crossings and more than 100,000 sea miles and holds a RYA Yacht Master Ocean Certificate. Your safety will be in good hands. Peter is also a Scuba PADI diving Instructor and takes pleasure in showing his guests the fabulous dive sites that he has found in the Caribbean. He is the perfect charter Captain to take you on your next unique and unforgettable vacation!

Colleen was born in Rhodesia and has traveled and lived throughout Africa, Europe and even Las Vegas! Before marrying Peter, she worked in the travel, airline, hotel, restaurant, tourism and car hire industries. Her motto that "strangers are just friends we have not met" demonstrates her likable and outgoing personality. From an early age, she took a keen interest in cooking and her experience in restaurants and on succesful charter yachts has refined her inventive gourmet talents. She has also trained at the Chez Gourmet School of Cooking and loves to adapt to the personal preferences of her guests which makes her a warm and welcoming host.

Just want to say that this was the trip of a lifetime.  First and foremost, Colleen and Peter made it so.  Such nice people, warm, fun and friendly, yet at the same time discreet, they spoiled us with first-class service and catered to our every whim.

Hi,

We had a great time on Madiba.  It exceeded our expectations in every way.  We loved Peter and Colleen!  Colleen is warm, friendly, easy to talk to, and from the first moment made us feel comfortable and at home.  Peter is incredibly patient and kind and always prepared for any activity we wanted to do.  We felt completely safe in his very capable hands.  They catered to our every whim, and did it with a smile.  They are natural hosts and know how to make guests feel simultaneously like royalty and like family.



The food was delicious.  I was most impressed with how fresh everything was.  Colleen had obviously paid attention to our food preferences.  Every single meal was a gourmet treat.  I only wish I'd eaten more!



The boat was terrific.  Every amenity we could have wanted and impeccably clean. It was like staying in a hotel with daily (sometimes hourly) maid service--something I hadn't expected.  The thing I liked best is that Peter and Colleen do this enormous amount of work seemingly without effort.  It felt like everything was being accomplished magically.



In short, Madiba was perfect, and we would charter her again in a heartbeat.

Colleen’s cooking this week already. The meals were amazing .

Presentation, taste, variety, everything was perfect! Meals were our

topic of discussion everyday wondering what would be for lunch and

dinner. Peter was great too. Diving was wonderful. Great sites and

really cool commentary from Peter who is a very well read historian .

Colleen made perfect use of our preference lists and couldn't have

been with two more gracious hosts. I have already reccomended you and

your service and this boat to many people. I would love to write a

more detailed letter to you soon. It was the best trip as a family I

have ever taken!! Really cool to have my entire family within 45 feet

all week! It was like eating at my favorite restaurant everyday with

a different menu.
