“First there was Gaultier (pronounced go-tea-a) but he told us to call him "G". A 29 year old Frenchman from Guadalupe, G handled the ship like a seasoned professional. He was so laid back, nothing phased him. His sole desire was to give us the trip we wanted and to satisfy everyone's wishes without fail. If Patrick wanted to run, G took him to a nice place to run; if Joe wanted to sail-board, G worked with Joe until he could do it (almost), if Walt wanted to kayak, the kayak was in the water pronto; if Bev and I wanted to snorkel, G took us to great places and stayed with us to help us in any way he could; if Sharon, Colette, and Mimi wanted to go ashore to explore, he transported them and advised them. What a terrific young man!
Then there was Caroline the chef (calling her a cook would be a gross understatement). She's a 33 year old beauty from England who prepared magnificent meals (three a day). It was without question the finest week of dining I've ever experienced. Nice hot breakfasts, great salad lunches with dessert, and fine nightly hot appetizers followed by wonderful cuisine served with perfection. She was just the nicest, sweetest lady you can imagine!”

Chris W | | Charter Dec. 09 - FERT YACHTING(Switzerland) | Dear Caroline, Dear Gaultier
We are all back safely to Switzerland.
Once again want to thank you so much for the great time We had with you onboard the Maevie.
You really made our stay; the food was georgeous, Gaultier had all the patience in the world with the youngsters and the fishing turned out a big success.
We shall all be looking to see you again either here in Switzerland may be in Verbier or on another cruise.
... | | Charter Jan 10- W.. Party | Thanks so much for helping to create a truly memorable vacation. I could not speak more highly of your professionalism and your interest in making sure the trip exceeded our expectations. | | Indal - April 10 | Caroline and Gaultier,
Thank you, and thank you for a fantastic time and vacation.
The children (and we!) miss you a lot, and we very much hope we can find the time this fall for another cruise!
Greetings from everyone! Hope to see you in the fall! Reynir | | Knorr -3 -10 July 2010 | Our whole group is so sad and we miss you & G so much L We had a blast on the trip. Everything was so perfect. Thank you both so much for such an amazing trip.
We are missing your food terribly! We tried out some crab claws sautéed in chili oil, white wine, & garlic last night and it was yummy. Dan wanted me to beg you to email a couple of recipes for us. Our favorites were the shrimp & scallop cakes & the prosciutto risotto (I know it was some other meat though). I’ll email you some photos when I get my camera set up. We were thinking that you may want to suggest to the owner to have a photo album on board to include pics of different groups who have traveled on Maevie. We have a guestbook at our cabin that we rent and everyone loves reading it. Take care and hope to see you soon J

Dear L.
We have just returned from an amazing holiday on Maevie. Caroline and Gaultier were absolutely outstanding , nothing was too much trouble . Gaultier had planned a wonderful itinerary and had taken into consideration all our concerns/wishes , he went out of his way to find calm spots for anchorage at night and during the day took us on amazing snorkelling trips , we even managed to swim with wild dolphins an experience that we will all remember forever. Caroline produced exceptional meals , her dishes were absolutely first class and deserve a michelin star ! She pampered us in every way. We were all really sad to leave Maevie and wished we had booked her for longer.
Thank you for all your help in organising our trip and please could you pass my message onto the owner of Maevie as I want him to know just how lucky he is to have Gaultier and Caroline looking after his beautiful yacht.
Kind Regards
G.

... we wanted to thank you and Gaultier so much for making our week aboard Maevie such a happy one. You both looked after us so well and nothing was too much trouble. You always seemed to sense exactly what we needed and when and those endless cups of tea, bottles of water, wine and vodka (the list is endless) seemed to miraculously appear at just the right moment to help quench thirst night and day and add to the general euphoria of the trip.
We were so lucky with the weather, seeing the shark was an added bonus and having a full moon topped it all.
Your cooking was sensational. To say we are missing it is an understatement. For someone who has had no formal cookery training we
could see and certainly tasted your passion for food and you listened to our food requests to a T plus plus. Really absolutely faultless and
delicious.
We so enjoyed your calmness and efficiency. A very competent and talented lady. Thank you both for looking after us so royally.
We shall remember our week on Maevie with much affection, always.
To you both, all the very best for a very happy future
Laura and Blaine
