With a life long interest and involvement in the yachting world, Adam is an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player, a competent,experienced and qualified skipper as well as a racing team member/ instructor. He is also an experienced and qualified chef with the ability of preparing and serving a varied range of high-class cuisine. Before joining Margaret Ann, first as a temporary captain in 2015, Adam has been captain on S/Y Oyster Reach and S/Y Spindrift. Adam has been sailing in the Mediteranean, the Atlantic and the Caribbean for over 10 years, first as a deckhand and then as a chef while he has also been a racing team member on various fast or classic sailing yachts. Adam has a Marine management degree BA Hons and, in addition to his MCA Yachtmaster 200, holds a Professional Chef Diploma, a RYA Sailing/ racing Instructor, a RYA Keel Boat Instructor and a RYA Power Boat Instructor.
As Captain of Margaret Ann, Adam will share with the guests his passion for sailing and the sea, ensuring absolute comfort and safety at all times.

Simon loves taking things apart, fixing them and putting them back together. Thanks to his diligent maintenance of all systems on board, any issue which may arise will be dealt with quickly and more than likely without any guests even knowing. If your dream is to drive a boat, he is also qualified to teach you so you can obtain a boat license and drive our tender yourself! His many formal qualifications are too numerous to list but one that’s sure to give great pleasure to guests is his ability to take them diving. He is a PADI Dive Master Instructor. Simon is a British adventurer with vast experience at sea, including years in the North Sea as a seismic and navigational engineer on marine survey vessels, living the dream aboard his own sailing yacht in the Med and working as a security contractor in Africa. Simon is a highly versatile team player, focused on helping guests realize their dreams by bringing them great pleasure and memorable moments.
