CAPTAIN - IOSIF DALEZIOS
Captain Iosif was born September 2, 1978 in Syros, Cyclades. He is single and speaks fluent English. Iosif obtained his B’ Class Captains Diploma from the "Marine Academy of Syros". Further to his B’ Class Captains Diploma, Iosif is fully certified with GMDSS, ISPS, ISM with full STCW/95 Amendments, LSA&FFE Certificate, Tanker Safety, Advance Practical in Oil Tanker, Bridge Resource Management and Bridge Simulator, Medical Care and is also trained on ARCS ECDIS. Iosif launched his career at sea on board Cargo and Tanker vessels for Greece’s very well known and reputable companies. Iosif then moved on to luxury yachts and has been doing so ever since. He was supervising the building of m/y “Marnaya” whilst it was in Italy. On board you will feel right at home, because Iosif is not just an experienced Captain, but the one who was there from the very beginning of m/y “Marnaya” and knows her better than anyone. During his free time he enjoys swimming, kickboxing and reading.
ENGINEER – ALEXANDROS GKOUMAS
Engineer Alexandros was born February 6, 1976 in Syros one of the beautiful islands of the Cyclades. He is married with two children and speaks very good English. He graduated from the "ADESEN of Aspropyrgos", Athens and holds a B’ Engineer’s Diploma. Alexandros has been working on board merchant vessels and private yachts since 1995. During his free time he enjoys fishing and diving.
CHEF – KONSTANTINOS OIKONOMOU
Chef Konstantinos was born October 29, 1979 in Athens, Greece. He is single and speaks English and French. Konstantinos graduated from “Le Monde School” and also attended seminars for French and Polynesian Cuisine and Buffet. Konstantinos began serving his wonderful meals in 2001 for “Chairs Restaurant” in Kolonaki Athens as “Sous Chef” and continued to serve in 5 star restaurants until 2005. In 2005 Konstantinos brought his experience and talent to luxury motor yachts and he has been successfully serving the most demanding clients today. His dishes are more than just a meal, but a statement. Prior to joining the superb crew of m/y “Marnaya”, Konstantinos was on board m/y “O’Rion”, m/y “Suncoco” and m/y "Duke". During his free time he enjoys playing the violin, fishing, diving and water-polo.
STEWARDESS – KYRIAKI GAGANI
Stewardess Kiriaki was born October 8, 1980 in Athens, Greece. She is single and speaks fluent English. Kiriaki is fully certified with Live Saving Fire Fighting Appliances, STCW, STCWW. Kiriaki has been working consecutively from 1999 for various restaurants in distribution departments, as well as barmaid and service manager at Atlantis Spetses Hotel. In 2006 she brought her services to luxury motor yachts ''Smile'', ''Rena'' and ''Rospiya'' as chief steward and today with her experience and knowledge is on board m/y “Marnaya”. During her free time Kiriaki enjoys travelling, listening music, going cinema and socializing.
SAILOR – CHARALBOS KATOMIDIS
Sailor Charalabos was born June 9, 1980 in Athens. He is single and speaks English. Charalabos holds “Able Seaman Diploma”, and all necessary Safety, Life Saving Certificates & Fire Fighting Appliances. Charalabos is very hardworking and strong asset to the crew with experience on board merchant vessels and luxury yachts from 2000. During his free time he enjoys singing, fishing, swimming and diving.
