CÉCILE & ARNAUD
Cécile and Arnaud have both followed unusual career paths. They chose their experiences mainly according to their passions, and have organized their professional lives in this direction.
Cécile
As a child, I practiced a lot of sports, took dance classes and piano lessons for years. Very active in my youth, I chose after my high school to pursue my studies in nursing school. While in nursing school, I was fortunate enough to make friends with comedians and circus performers. Through them, I was drawn to the circus arts and street performance!
When I finished nursing school, I went to Bordeaux to work and also to pursue this new passion that had invaded me: Between trapeze, hand balancing, juggling, and character-acting, I divided my work between hospital, and our little yellow and red tent; this was where I met Arnaud, both totally taken up by our new performance passions and at the same time… we just felt totally in love at first sight! The government had just opened a new academy of circus arts, and I went on to four years there… I moved north and Arnaud moved south, and our love story started to hide in our hearts.
I can say that I had definitely swapped the medical uniform for a sequin leotard: The already famous Cirque du Soleil came to the academy to sign flying trapeze, and thus began my 15 years adventure with Cirque de Soleil (touring shows in Canada, the USA , Japan, and Germany) ending my circus career in a Las Vegas-based show where I performed until 2004. A wonderful experience!
I always kept a keen interest in the well being of body and mind, and in preparing for my post circus career, I had acquired several certifications, including pilates instructor, Thai yoga massage therapist and reiki master teacher.
Meanwhile, by chance, Arnaud found me on Facebook that my two teenagers had absolutely insisted that I open, and again by chance, I traveled with friends to the Island where Arnaud was living. The rendezvous turned out to be magical, our love resurfaced and shortly thereafter I left Las Vegas, my friends, my clients and my lifestyle for my love and the love of the sea.
Arnaud
At 4 years I was swimming, at 8 I was sailing by myself with my uncle’s boat, and at 12 I sailed across the Gulf of Morbilhan. By age 13, I was in love with photography, since then I've always done photographic shooting and laboratory technical work. I never stopped shooting pictures for tourism. Among my many hobbies, I did play guitar in small pop-rock groups. I started to organize concerts for other musicians and learned sound enginering. Later on, I discovered the wonder of flying with light sport planes. It was during this time that I met Cecile. When she left for her circus adventure, I started a 15 passionate year period as a professional pilot and instructor. Eventually I opened a club/company that included a flying school, aerial photography services and a dealing in two brands of Ultra Light planes.
After getting my U.S. pilots license, I became a journalist in newspapers and magazines, and even a test pilot. I discovered the Caribbean during a Rally in my ultralight seaplane and decided to settle on Guadeloupe. I sold my flying school in France and my planes and just took off… me and my ultralight seaplane.
In the isands, it was easy to have my attention turned by the yachts in the harbour, and I explored the various catamarans available, and started captaining and chartering. After cruising for ten years, I settled in St Barths and developed the concept of a cruise hotel with nights out and with meals and a chef on board. Eventually I moved in St Martin for new adventures.
I never lost touch with music, and I’ve often been approached by fellow musicians to repair their instruments, and with Cécile, we occassionally do small gigs in bars and Rock restaurants. Cécile sings the "backing vocals" and dances with a flamenco flavor!
In 2012 we decided to settle in the British Virgin Islands, one of the best playgrounds in the Caribbean for comfort and cruises of varying lengths. On top of our service, gourmet cuisine and fine wines, we propose new options to add for a very unique charters : nice and soft – but efficient – pelates and yoga workout for your activities, and Thai Yoga Massage to get pampered from head to toe aboard MILAGRO.

You are great cooks, entertainers, and story tellers !
The medical attention to Robert’s middle finger, Larry’s big toe, Cuck’s foot, and Tom’s foreskin peeling off his back was top notch.
Cecile is incredible cook and made the trip extra special with one amazing dish after another.
Arnaud’s beer runs in the dinghy kept Chuck under control.
See you again in a few weeks!
