About MIM

Operating in the Caribbean, Bahamas, West Mediterranean, East Mediterranean and Florida

MIM is truly one of the most voluminous vessels of her size. The impressive, yet flexible accommodations easily sleep up to 12 guests in 7 en suite staterooms. MIM's stunning interior can be best described as classic contemporary with the extensive use of raised and fielded African Cherry (Makoré) paneling throughout and Amboyna Burl wood accent panels.

From the main aft deck one enters through the circular double glass doors into the grand salon with almost full height picture windows. The salon boast elegant and comfortable couches and chairs with a large coffee table. To starboard there is a pair of glass doors opening out on to a drop down balcony over the sea. Forward of the salon there is a large formal dining table with seating for 12 guests and low height storage cabinets for china and additional storage. This area has African Cherry wood finish on the walls and furniture with traditional detailing. The professional Chef’s galley is located to the port side and adjacent to the dining room with large picture windows, walk-in pantry and deck access. Located forward of the dining area is the main lobby which houses the yacht’s impressive 40” (1m) diameter, pneumatic glass elevator surrounded by a circular sculpted bronze and glass stairway with illuminated glass threads spanning all three interior stories. The beautiful glass spiral staircase leads down to the 5 guest staterooms and up to the impressive skylounge, bridge and VIP stateroom.

Main Aft Deck
The lovely open aft deck offers bench seating, teak table, dining chairs and settee for 10 guests. Two staircases access down to the swim platform for easy access to toys and tenders.

One of the most multifaceted areas on the yacht is the skylounge. The skylounge also features a 63” LG TV with integrated full-feature CD/DVD system enabling all guests to access the entire A/V library at any time on demand. Large windows to port and starboard allow abundant daylight and panoramic views from the upper deck. The skylounge pantry is equipped with dishwasher, ice maker, dumb waiter and coffee maker. Double doors lead out to a large covered dining deck with retractable roof for sun or shade.

He held the number one laser sailor in his country for the last 3 consecutive years when he was racing.

In 2011, after finishing school, he then went on to start his career in the yachting industry. He started off on a sail boat and later moved onto motor yachts. At present, he is currently working towards his Chief Mate 3000 Gt License. Pavlo is also a qualified dive master.

Born in Southern California, Tim grew up surfing and sailing the west coast of the United States. His family comes from a long line of Norwegian cheese makers, and his earliest memories were herding cows on his family’s dairy farm near Fredrikstad, Norway. After 5 years in commercial construction, he left his career in engineering to return to the sea. On his days off you can find him practicing alpine mountaineering and is working to set a world record, summiting the tallest mountains in the world with his pet iguana Kiki. He also enjoys studying macroeconomic trends relating to currency, commodity, and derivative markets, and actively manages an equity investment fund for friends and family. But more than his passion for the ocean, Tim always seems to be excited to deliver an exceptional guest experience on-board MiM, with a big bright smile.

Caitlyn joins us from Durban, South Africa. Following her love for cuisine Caitlyn eagerly studied to become a chef once finishing school. She worked in the gorgeous Natal Midlands at a very well established boutique hotel called Granny Mouse Country House.

Soon after this, Caitlyn moved to a very small farming community where she worked as a dietitian in a rural hospital. Eager to follow her love for travel and start a new adventure, Caitlyn thought she would take her knowledge and passion to sea and joined the yachting industry. She has been working on board yachts for the last 4 years and has loved every new adventure and challenge she has been faced with. Caitlyn loves to see new places, learn about other people’s cultures and cuisines, and enjoys anything that involves the outdoors.
