MINE GAMES Crew Profile
Terry Coombes
Captain
Australia
Terry began in the marine industry during his university days, where he was a PADI divemaster, trainee commercial diver and also participated in yacht racing on Lake Macquarie in Newcastle, Australia. His yachting career began in 1990 on a sailing yacht called ‘Georgiana’ – which was a 92’ sloop based in Gosport, the UK. After spending 2 years onboard with 2 Atlantic crossings and seeing the Caribbean, Mediterranean and Scandinavia for the first time, he had enough money to attend a training facility in Houston, Texas, where he achieved his level 3 commercial diving license. Between 1993 and 1999 he was mainly based in Townsville on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef where he built and ran a 24 ft dive/fishing charter vessel and owned/operated a 60 ft lobster boat. He also worked locally in the commercial marine industry as rigger/commercial diver (own business), as a Stevedore loading merchant ships, wharf and harbour construction/demolition, and onboard tugs doing dredging duties. He also delivered yachts when commitments allowed in the South Pacific and Asia areas.
In 1999 he returned to the yachting industry as Mate/Engineer on a new build called “That’s Y” in Holland. Since then, he has been in command on both sailing and motor yachts ranging from 100 to 247ft, and has navigated them from the Med, to the Caribbean, and Australia and New Zealand. Previous vessels include “M/Y Lady Joy” (157’), “S/Y Aurora” (163’) and “S/Y Phocea” (247’).
He is also ready to take guests for underwater tours aboard “NEMO”, which is the submersible onboard “Mine Games”, capable of reaching 1000ft in perfect safety and comfort.
Paul ‘PJ’ Lyndon
Chief Engineer
UK
Paul, commonly known as PJ, has had a long and illustrious yachting career covering the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and as far as the South Pacific. The odyssey began 13 years ago in Fort Lauderdale crewing as Engineer on board a sail boat with his brother as Captain. PJ was not taking kindly to being bossed around by his brother, and so combined with sibling rivalry, he decided his career path was on motor yachts. PJ is a "mso-spacerun: yes;"> He is also happy to show any interested guests around the mechanics of Mine Games with an engine room tour.
Kyle Toso
Chief Officer
Canada
Kyle is a 30 something First Officer who has been in the yachting industry for over 14 years now. Originally from the Rocky Mountains of Canada, literally being able to ski to and from his back door. Kyle started in the industry on classic sailing yachts racing extensively throughout the Mediterranean. Kyle has had many opportunities to sail and live all around the World; sailing across the Atlantic 7 times, the Pacific 2 times and completing a circumnavigation on board a sail training tall ship. Kyle is very excited to join the Crew of Mine Games and continuing on his yachting career.
Stuart Jolly
Bosun
Australia
Stuie grew up in a small beach town in NSW Australia where his intrigue with the ocean began. He first joined the crew in 2007, and after spending 13 months on board his love of snowboarding took him to Whistler, BC in Canada to fulfill his goal of spending a snow season there in the mountains. After a couple of winters, and a season touring Europe, Stuie’s love for the ocean brought him back again to yachting and Mine Games. Stuie is a qualified Dive Instructor and is currently being trained as one of the submersible pilots.
Kennen St.Henry
Deckhand
USA
Kennen, the deckhand onboard, grew up and spent most of his life in a small town in Southern Indiana. Here he spent his youth in the outdoors and was very active in sports, camping, mountain biking, and backpacking. Every summer he vacationed in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin. The area attracted him enough to move there after college and take a position as a marine technician at a local marine dealership. A longing for travel and adventure, along with two winters in North Eastern Wisconsin, was more than enough to send Kennen packing to warmer climates. Shortly after showing up in Ft. Lauderdale he joined M/Y Lady Joy where he spent the next year and a half traveling between Europe and the Caribbean. Kennen still makes it camping occasionally, and has picked up scuba diving, surfing, and someday hopes to design and build his house on Lake Tahoe in California. He is always happy to help make your stay as enjoyable and safe as possible and looks forward to getting to know you better.
Aaron Hurley
Chef
New Zealand
Aaron has been a chef for a total of 18 years. He went to culinary school in New Zealand and then moved to Australia in which he worked in various hotels, resorts and restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and the Whitsunday Islands. Aaron then returned home to New Zealand in which he worked 2 ski seasons in beautiful Queenstown. He then decided to travel further from home and ended up in Dublin, Ireland for 1 year, then Brighton, England for 1 year. In 2005 he heard about the yachting industry and came to Florida in search of work which he found straight away and joined a yacht that took him across the Atlantic for a Mediterranean season. He has since travelled to Scandinavia, Russia, South America, Galapagos Islands, East Coast of America, Nova Scotia as well as the Caribbean. Aaron still loves the yachting lifestyle and will be here for many more years to come.

Chief Stewardess
New Zealand

A combination of her hospitality skills and her love of travelling brought her to the Super Yacht Industry 3 years ago. She enjoys all aspects of living and working on the water. Since joining the Mine Games crew Kim has proven to be an energetic and astute crew member who is here to ensure that all the guests have an unforgettable holiday.
Twila Contreras
2nd Stewardess
USA
Twila grew up in a small town deep in the woods of Washington State. Growing up she was active in outdoor activities including soccer, fishing and most importantly snowboarding. After graduation Twila began pursuing her desire to travel first hitting the slopes in New Zealand and then landing a position in the yachting world. Twila is always eager to help and makes it her priority to ensure the guests are smiling and enjoying their experience to the absolute fullest.
