Chef: Athene
Athene is most passionate about two things in life, food and the Ocean. Having found a career that marries these two obsessions, you will find an extremely happy chef on board. In the years previous to working on Boats Athene worked in a variety of Kitchens, perhaps the best known being the groundbreaking Brighton based restaurant 'Food for Friends'.
Athene prides herself on her ability to create super healthy and exciting menus taking inspiration from a wide variety of cuisines including Italian, French, Middle Eastern, Spanish, Indian and Asian. Athene will only use the freshest ingredients available and sources organic produce wherever possible. Providing they are biting she will also catch, prepare and serve you fish fresh from the Mediterranean to table in a matter if minutes.
Athene is extremely practical and hands on when it comes to sailing and is often found manning the helm in-between meals. She is very sociable and enjoys chatting to guests when they wish and is always on hand to do whatever it takes to make their stay as comfortable as possible on board.
